Me personally I'm glad they are easy. Was wp and ak easy? Yes they were. A lot of people such as myself can't do coil well due to time in day and no voice communication. This makes getting coil armor very very difficult and I've never done coil. Dungeons are not meant to be hard they are supposed to be an easy time sink to still get the best armor in the game. I personally would not have time to log in daily and spend half my night in coil. Which is what you should be doing if you can.
They released new coil and easy dungeons. If you want the challenge do coil. If you don't have time do the dungeons. They make content for everyone.
They're easy because many players are already well overgeared for them. Personally speaking, I had quite a bit of difficulty running the story quests to unlock Leviathan (The enemy encounters in Sapsa Spawning Grounds feel as though they've been retuned to provide that challenge even at i80). But as for everything else, yes it SEEMS easy, but try running it at the base ilvl requirement or slightly higher for the challenge. Not to mention if things are too hard, progression stagnates, and players lose interest (and yes, the same could be said in opposite).

Hard = Normal and Extreme = Hard. Once you accept that it might feel better. Nothing Hard in this game is considered endgame type stuff on other games for the most part.
The new dungeons were pretty easy but they were fun! I also love that there is more variety of things to run to cap my tomes each week.
I know the groups I ran with were well overgeared for the Hardmode stuff so that might have had something to do with it.
There needed to be a good mixture of easy and difficult dungeons/trials to suit everyone. Some players like a challenge (Lev X and Coil), some prefer the grind (HM dungeons for tome cap every week), and some are casuals (who occasionally might do a mix of dungeons or primals and not fuss if they don't cap tomes or get drops). You won't see the casuals hitting the harder content like the static group FC's are (especially Lev X and Coil especialy since they aren't easily accessibly via Duty Finder yet). People who focus on working for the Coil drops, Lev X weapons, and rare mounts earn it. Casuals should not have access to these items unless they change their play style, gear up, and earn it.
The only content that feels too easy is Levi ex. I remember specifically yoshi p saying that it will be the hardest primal to date, but it sure doesn't feel that way to me.
None of the primals are particularly difficult. If anything I still think Titan is the most difficult. Not because its a hard fight but because most people are too lazy or stupid to move out of weights. {and before someone says "but the lag..." you know when the damn things are coming if you still get hit by them maybe you should consider deleting your account?"}
Personally I don't mind the new dungeons. Yes they're very easy, but at the same time they're more enjoyable and feel like less of a chore to run for tomes than the previous tiers did.
This has been said, but in a different way. Not only you, but the rest of the players are overgeared. Much more now in the early times when even the most geared+skilled people run these dungeons. (Maybe they won't in the future if they discover a place to farm tomes quicker and there's not the novelty of the place.) If you met in DF people with the minimum ilvl required, you would see if it they are that easy.
WP and AK are not so easy, if you and your party are not overgeared and know the place like your home. You run now (well, before 2.2, I don't know now) WP with basic gear without knowing the place and probably you meet mostly overgeared people that will save the day. I have done lots of WP, and from time to time a fresh level 50 is there, and we win anyway, a bit slower and maybe with a wipe. By the way, remember how the Wall at AK was a tragedy for many players until most were overgeared and it died so soon. I find WP easy now, I didn't find it easy the first times I did it when fresh level 50 and not so overgeared parties.
Aurum Vale is quite easier than WP, but as people are synced and can't be much overgeared, look how many people cry because it is "so" difficult.
Yes, it's difficult to find the "sweet spot" where a dungeon is difficult enough to be fun, but not as difficult to discourage people. That sweet spot is different for each player and even for each player+gear+skill. The more geared+skilled you get, the easier it becomes. At first you suffer, later you enjoy, later you might get bored if you find it too easy.
Look Pharos Sirius (and AK too): people didn't run it, even didn't do the roulette because it was too difficult for the rewards it gave. Look all the problems that Titan HM gives. With the echo I suppose it will get a bit better. I agree with you in that you have to enjoy while you farm, but not in that they are very easy. They are easy for overgeared parties.
It's called variety, so people don't have to run only wp for tomes anymore.
I am pretty sure a party composed of ilvl 55 running brayflox HM will be a nightmare.
But i have to thank SE for at least making a dungeon that is easy to farm and yet enjoyable.
In WP it is just trash, trash, trash, and boring boss. At least in Brayflox HM, the bosses were more interesting. Dodging those Commander's bomb, and shoving bombs away is not sleep inducing unlike WP's boss.

I don't know if the dungeons are actually easier, or if they just feel like it because I have better gear and more experience now than when I first hit 50. Maybe a bit of both.
Levi extreme is hard from a gear point of view. Only primal with a real accuracy cap so far. It's not as much as a frustrating internet check as titan but it does require some rhythm and coordination across the team.
Titan ex was too hard. Levi ex is just right. havn't gotten into second turn but it looks scary.
