Vendor and Junkmonger permit

I know that Vendor and Junkmonger permits that you can put inside your FC house are quiet cheap and all, but thing is my FC house is near the vendor in Mist.

Can anyone tell me what exactly do the they actually sell?

If you get the Material Supplier it will have ALL of the items for the material NPCs for each city. To the best of my knowledge the one in the housing district has a smaller selection.

The Material NPC in the housing district doesn't sell anything that the guilds sell. There's mid-level mats sold there that are unique to those NPCs.

That said, the above poster is correct, Material vendors in your house sell stuff from all the guilds so your members can level any crafting class up to level 20 or so without needing to leave the house if they so desire and it gives you a place to get random low-level materials without much hassle.

The Junkmonger NPC sells Dyes and Garden plots.

Material vendor it is then.

The Material vendor is very good, I can clear all item that he sells and free up many space.

Silly question but how do you get the vendor on your land? I purchased a permit for the vendor just have no idea how to use it, lol
Oh and can he be fired or removed from the land at any time :D

You install your vendor just like a furniture. Idk if it can removed, but my guess is that it can, and like primal items, the permit just gets used up.

You can move the vendors around wherever you like.

Yes, vendors are installed as furniture, but it could not be put on top of another object.
The "permit" will be deleted upon vendor removal, you have to buy it for $3000 again.

The junkmonger is such a waste...

I just bought a small house in The Goblet, as no smalls were left in any of the 10 wards in LL or Gridania. I can only install 2 of the 3 of them. I really didn't care much for the Mender, and was thinking more along the Junkmonger instead. Can someone list the exact Dye names available? Are those ones you can buy in town only, not the beast ones? Why would he sell Garden plots when you can just walk a few feet to the main one in town to get one. You will only ever need 1, 2, 3 of them and never buy one after that. :/

I'm planing to get Vendor and Mender only so can't advice on that buit in the end it's "only" 3k gil so comapring to cost of the whole house ... but from what I've heard from other it's really waste of space and money.

Junkmonger dyes are the same 40/216 gil ones sold by any dyemonger.

Junkmonger also sells the catalyst for repairing gear so not such a waste if you repair your own gear with out a mender

Junkmongers didn't sell those at the time of the OP.

I thought that the material supplier was supposed to carry all items on all three different housing zone material vendors, but they don't, there are a couple of things sold only by the outside vendor, not the FC house one.

Mudstone for instance

You go in the house and hit start if you on a controller to go to the menu and go to housing. Then interior furnishings...then use the item that gives the the vendor. Also remember that you can rotate the vendors. I have a vendor facing sideways cause I forgot to have him facing the other way.
