This dungeon is beautiful - I wanted to stop and turn 360 degrees to look with every step. Amazing.
Too bad is was basically unplayable last night due to lag and lock up for everyone in the party. I hope that settles down as the 2.2 rush subsides.

I've got FC friends saying Longstop HM is the new WP. I'd rather run LCA instead. Love the city.
The music sets a great mood too and I'm glad they cut the battle theme so as not to ruin it.
I liked it also but me and my group also experienced major bad lag, tank would be beside me and then gone. I hem would find him two areas away pulling the next mob. We beat it so no biggy but I hope this lag stops soon as we need to be farming this for Soldiery.
the best dungeon so far for me
I love the dungeon, I just wish there was more lore or dialogue or anything at all. Did we get anything besides some quest text? Lore wise all I took away from this dungeon was that the Amdapori civilization must have fallen because they were bad at matching games.
It would be nice to have some 'contents/features' that allow you to explore this kind of dungeons to find lore, secret treasures and stuff. I wanted to enter in the doors around in the lost city..
I googled Amdapor. It has some Indian(7/11, not Casino) origin.
Not that it matters, FF has many Indian/Hindu Mythology.
Next time you go into Amdapor, take another long look at the Mold Colony after you kill it. Flaccid horse penises? :O
have to take some Allegra or Claritin before I run it again.. ;)
I don't know what to say to this...
Agreed, Amdapor is an awesome dungeon. The other 2 were kinda lame.
The lore of the Amdaporii civilization is tied to White Magic if I remember correctly. The Amdaporii where unrivaled in terms or raw power, and they continued to seek more and more of it. White Magic is what makes the Padjal immortal, so you can see how tempting it would be to be able to wield such massive amounts of it that you'd get the same benefit. In the end, their thirst for power ended up destroying them. Overuse of White Magic caused the 6th Umbral Era, and was subsequently outlawed once people realized how dangerous it was. The only exception made was for the Padjal, who were allowed to use it by virtue of the Elementals.
