It's fairly self explanatory.
For example, if one had a full set of Darklight assigned to their Bard set, those darklight pieces do not show up when doing expert delivery.
Much thanks for consideration.

Buuump. Plus ten.

I'd like to be able to just have the same ui as selling, this would be much quicker. You could open your armoury window and go out emptying and sell your now unwanted gear.

I want improvements to this system as well! I've also been thinking they should just allow selling from your inventories like selling items to npcs works. From what you guys say and my own thoughts, I would like to see at least one or more of:
Make it easier to distinguish what is in your armory chest vs inventory
-And/or-
Make it easier to see what's currently in a gear set
-And/or-
Allow us to sell from our inventories instead of having to select from a list of stuff first
This. I mean omg... 50 all the things, and I have to be careful not to turn in lvl I55 items because crafting.
Same with the crafting; I have all DoH classes with all their i55 gear. First, the list the NPC gives you doesn't sort in any real way; it's not aplhabetical and it isn't even consistent so I need to skim the entire list every time. Second, all my crafting gear I'm not trading in, my 50 job stuff I'm not trading in, dungeon loots for non-50 jobs I'm not trading in, and stuff I'm saving for my next job I'm not trading so why is this terrible UI still around. Third, wtf SE?

Same here.
It's a chore everytime I build up a bunch of items to turn in, then have to click an item, then check my inventory to make sure I'm not using it, every. single. time!
yeah, the gear set icon needs to show up in more situations.
The biggest issue IMO is the fact that it resets the position in the list each time so if you are trading more than 1 it is a real pain.
I almost accidentally traded in a fully overmelded crafter piece due to this not being an already existing feature. The list populates different every time, and there is no special confirmation box to warn you that something is a part of a set or anything... Please... This suggestion is most win... IMPLEMENT! RIGHT MEOW!
this would be amazing
sorting thro every jobs lv50 gear is brutal since every job is 50 for me >.<
this. I turned in my DRG darklight gloves the other day because it didn't have the gear set icon, and I totally spaced on it when turning stuff in while in my smn class. I'm stuck using the drachen gloves now cuz I've yet to get the crystal tower onion gloves, and need to save my myth for the Gae bolg books... it's pretty crappy, despite it being my fault that I didn't notice it before hand(it was the only piece of DL gear I had in use still)

Either make them unavailable to deliver, or show the gear set icon and give a warning if we try to turn those ones in, or let us select them from our inventory/armoury chest where we already have the gear set icon, or something. I don't care which solution is implemented, but please add something to keep people from accidentally trading in the gear they're still using.
All for it. Exchanging items for seals is a nightmare. No option to not display items you wear, no options to display armoury/inventory only and after returning one item, the list is different so you can look it up again. I was so glad to have my chars to 50 so all I saw were the green iLevel 55 items from my DOH/DOL. But then 2.2 came and the list is back to 70 entries because most of my chars still wear DL. By the time they wear myth or better, there will be a new patch so they can be traded again. It is a catch-22 I tell ya lol. So please provide us with filter options.
Yes Please. /like for OP
This is sort of how it works now. You select from the list first to identify the item type you're turning in. Then it brings up a turn-in window like it uses when you turn in items for a quest or crafting leve. That has you then select the specific item from your inventory or armoury chest, which is where you get to see all the details like where it is and whether it has the gear-set icon.
I don't remember it doing that before, so I think this has changed sometime between yesterday (when I saw this behavior) and whenever the last time was that I turned in items at the GC.
So, there is still that initial list that's unsorted, and where you can't see which items are what, but at least it gets to a page where you can see it before the trade-in is finalized.
Not sure when this change was made, but it's been like this since I've been turning stuff in, which has been since the first HM and pharos dungeons were introduced.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that you can verify before turning in like that, but it still takes time to sift through the initial list since once you select an item you have to turn only that item in then sift the list again to turn in another. If you realize you selected a wrong item at that point you have to back out and sift again.
I would prefer a free turn in where it just opens my inv and I can trade any eligible items for seals. Similar to how selling stuff for Gil to a vendor works.
