Hildibrand quests in 2.2?

Hi all,

I'm trying to locate the next set of Hildibrand quests from 2.2 but can't seem to find the starter quest. I've found http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wi...e_of_Deduction but where do I start it or unlock something? I just can't seem to find anything.

Done the ones in Uldah with Yellow moon from a dude near the central entrance? (dunno the name of him atm)

Yep, from 2.1? Did the whole chain and got the cutscene at the end.

You sure you checked the Golden Bazaar above camp drybones near the church in East Thanlaran?
Done it yesterday and could have sworn it starts there.

He has only one quest called 'due diligence' which is a level 1 quest.

have you beaten the game? It's required you to have finished the Praetorium at lvl 50 and be lvl 50 o;

maybe it doesn't let you start it before you do the story part/patch.

Yeah and the whole chain ended with both NPC's chasing each other and everyone laughing. Sorry, don't want to spoil it for player who might not have done the first ones. :/

Uh, that is the end of the 2.2 Hildebrand story line then. You've done Battle on the Big Bridge, yes?

One guide says the following:

Side Story Quest: Hildebrand
Pre-Requirements: Level 50 & have completed the 2.1 Hildebrand questline
Entry Quest: The Science of Deduction
Quest NPC: Ellie
Location: Eastern Thanlan X:10 Y: 16

I've done the Pre-Requirements: Level 50 & have completed the 2.1 Hildebrand questline part.

That's the NPC who I'm looking for. She is meant to be in the room but its empty. I even logged out and back in.

Imo this silly sidequest and its parts is better then the main story.
Its cheese done right which always puts a gigantic grin on my face.

It was really enjoyable completing the quests and quite random at times. Anyone that hasnt done the chain yet should check the quests out.
