Players with severe lag: where are you from?

I am a European player on the Ragnarok world. I am wondering if the current lag issues are isolated to EU players, or if this is effecting all players.

Effected players know that the game is in dire need of emergency maintenance. Since yesterday it has also gotten worse and can take many seconds between each update, causing player locations to jump around the map.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the feedback so far everyone. We can definitely see that everyone on the North American and European data centre are being effected by this, and thankfully Square-Enix have now acknowledged the issue on the lodestone, although they say certain instances are effected when it's potentially all instances and even the open world to some degree such as when trying to interact with an npc like a mender.

I'm in the USA (Texas), and play with a buddy from Canada, and we're both having extreme lag / skill interruptions. People warping all over the place, but the real annoyance are the constant "INTERRUPTED" on skills accompanied by "Cannot execute at this time" messages.

This needs to be fixed - ASAP. Lots of people I grouped with today were complaining about this issue, mostly casters with long spell cast times (like myself), but it probably effects everyone to a degree. I had some people in my FC just give up doing dungeons today because the lag/skill interruptions are so bad.

I watched Transpose take 6+ seconds to switch from Astral Fire to Umbral Ice (several times) after casting, while sitting there being completely useless with little to no mana. I've had the same skill get interrupted SIX times in a row.

Unacceptable.

I am also on levi server. It's gotten to the point that anything dungeon related is just not worth the hassle in doing right now. SE i know you are reading this, so PLEASE fix it.

Goblin server here, Arizona, USA. Same issues. Dungeons are practically unplayable as a healer.

Balmung & its duty finder server just clocked 15 seconds of lagg.

Cactuar server NA, and having extreme lag in instances (both on ps3 and pc).... especially noticeable as a healer

Ever since the last "Emergency Maintenance", I've had severe lag in all dungeons and duty-related instances.
I am even affected by this lag in town at times when I was crafting.

Agreed with Kelvani, the lag is unbearable to the point where there are periods of 2-3 seconds delay or 10-15 seconds of complete unresponsiveness.

Just ran into this last night. Never had these problems before. Tried to run Garuda for the story 3 times and it was just a mess. There was at least one other person in each instance who needed it to progress as well and we couldn't keep the other players around for more than one attempt with the lag so bad. I've never seen it anywhere near this bad before so I'm sure they''re working on it.

Shiva europe ps3 player here, I noticed the same issue today, in Halatali HM with Expert DR, numerous times I couldn't keep the rotation going due to combos getting interrupted / not proc'ing

Goblin NA player from Michigan. I've had entire mission teams complaining about the lag teleporting. Playing DPS in such a situation is rough, I can't even imagine how difficult tanking and healing must be.

Am from Excalibur and a lot of ppl I have been playing with are getting massive lag when entering dungeons.... I was just doing lost city and could not complete it cause of the final boss door mechanic... (we got stuck in the door/void) Attacks seem to not go off at times as well..I was also doing garuda story mode as a healer and I had to spam succor just to make sure I was healing everyone.... So HELP PLEASE! SE confirm that there is a problem cause idk what to do :'(

Behemoth. FCmate and I were running Halitali, and everyone present saw everyone else constantly warping. I had at least a 3 second delay on my weaponskills showing whether they had hit or not, and subsequently if the combo was able to take place, which... is hell when tanking. Definitely was not my connection as everything else was running perfectly fine; even cycled the router just to be sure, but alas, it didn't help at all.

Duties are unplayable, infact this game for the past 2 months + has been pretty much unplayable..

Suggest you get your fingers out ESO comes out soon, and i wouldnt blame people for giving up on this.

NA (Canada) Diablos, anything to do with DF is lagging, cant even finish copperbell HM due to it.

Literally takes me 5 seconds to pick up rock, 5 seconds to interact, 5 seconds to drop...

Dungeons unplayable atm. And i have great ping because i am only a few hundred km's away from servers....

Before 2.2 I never had any lag. Since 2.2 I have huge lags.

Germany here on Zalera playing WHM and BLM theres nothing left to say its Lagging for everyone ive played with no matter what server and no matter where period!

NA Cactaur. Just got booted from the server while in a dungeon (I was healer, I don't think it ended well for them :/) Been getting cast inturruption messages every time I try a dungeon. Used to be the primary way I level, now I'm just getting my daily and staying away. Live in southern Mississippi, didn't have any issues before patch.

UK, Sargatanas server, lag so bad its unplayable for me at minute and i have 120+Mbit/s fibre optic, tested ping to servers nearby thru speedtest.net and im getting less than 30ms ping and a latency of 73ms, so it aint my connection and my rig is more than capable of playing this on ultra without lag lol and before patch i had constant 60fps in open world and dungeons even in crazy fates, now its a cycle of rubber banding missed abilities and 90ks lol

I'm from the Cerberus server on the EU data centre playing from New Zealand. It's mainly AoE's hitting when I'd moved out of them well before they triggered and other players appearing to teleport. That and skills casting and activating cooldown but not taking effect.

Excalibur NA North Carolina. Extreme lag issues reported by everyone I come across in DF and people in my FC have the same issue.
It's gotten worse since last night to the point that it's literally unplayable. Just got to enrage on Siren...... I didn't even know Siren had an enrage......

Malboro here! Many of us are also experiencing both dungeon and simple guildhest lag.

Hope it is fixed soon! Most of us are just avoiding doing these activities just out of sheer frustration.
