They said maybe 2.3 but they're still not 100% sure... or something like that lol.
I remember previsouly it only mentioned "to be reviewed on next patch".
I only have 2 questions/concerns:
1: How much? Don't say 1 mil.
2: Housing in Coerthas/Mor Dhona - Can we have it?
Expected sometime in 3-48 months.
It seems that SP housing would be a big strain on SE servers... so if that's a consideration in setting the price you could argue that SP housing should be more than FC houses. Honestly, I've never been in a good FC, and haven't enjoyed FC housing at all... so I can see demand for SP housing being very high.
I wouldn't mind if they did an auction system which would let the players set the price... and I think it would be HIGH... and maybe a way for SE to find and ban gil buyers ;p
No. If they think they can set the prices at or near FC house prices then they shouldn't even bother with individual housing. I don't care how much "server strain" there is. If they don't have servers that can handle a reasonable number of personal houses then they shouldn't have been advertising it as a feature for the past year.
I'm still curious to see if the wards will be identical, house sizes, and what size options there will be from individual houses (rooms) inside of a FC house.
Basically we know next to nothing yet so we'll have to wait and see.
I'm interested in what will we gain from having our very own house. Can we expect boosts similar to FC houses or it will just be a gil sink/decorative feature? Im wishing it will be more of a house/laboratory/gardening/chocobo raising abode rather than a bland box that you just sleep into. Something that beats the fairly functional Inns we have now.
I wish I can buy more than one house when they are out so I have can a whole street for my friends.
They said several times 6 months after fc housing in several magazines.
Having said that I'd be fine with yet another delay if it meant that personal housing would be more fleshed out than the bare bones fc system.
I've taken walks in many of the housing areas and nobody is using their houses. No one walks in the zones and the buildings look cold and sterile inside.
Maybe the system just needs to be tied to core gameplay systems more tightly and the placement of furniture needs to be more flexible.
Anyway right now the housing is kind of just vanity fluff.
If SE makes it 1 million, I will buy every single freaking house on my server and sell them at whatever freaking price I want; I bet there WILL be people who will cave in to whatever freaking price I put. Heck, even 10 mil is too cheap (unless SE screws me over and add more houses, which they just might do). Most all of the FC houses are already bought on my server, which is absolutely ridiculous, it hasn't even been half a year yet. Still, SE technically didn't succumb to the whining for handouts of the FC houses so they probably won't with this, but we'll see.
Sorry to hear that. I haven't visited all of the housing wards, but the first ward of Lavender Beds and Mist is almost fully bought on Odin. And there's always some crafters at market boards and summoning bells. The houses that I've been able to visit have been fully furnished as well. Guess it's different on every server.
I would imagine the houses would be one per player. There's no real reason to allow few players to hoard all the houses, is there?
As often as they mentioned that personal housing will cause a lot of stress on their servers (funny how f2p games can provide it without server problems), I assume that whenever we will get the chance to get our own houses, it will be a real money option through the Mog station.
Wait, so the patch included updates about gardening in individual homes, but we aren't getting player housing in the patch? I'm a little lost, now.
So dose no one remember 11....custom areas that you could expand and set anything anywhere that gave you stats boosts that everyone had from the start of the game that other people could visit...that both ff11 and every online phantasy star game has
