Spread the word that CT is the next hardest thing to Coil. Maybe there will be fewer leechers, who intentionally die and release for free rides to loot, then.

It's only gonna get worse once restriction on loot is lifted
I always go premade so yeah it's easy. On Archeron we play the "stand still" game where we don't move for AOE attacks. It's super fun...
CT is home to the hardest boss in the entire game - The rest of the player base.
So keep up the good fight and keep at it!
CT is easy
doing CT every week at least 5~6 times , all of them is DF , all runs 100% win , no matter if wipes on Dragon or Atomos or KB . Try win EX primals in DF 5~6 times in week thru DF then say it easier than CT loooooool.
CT is easy, if you're doing it now you are getting in at the tail end of the lockout so people are playing awful as they are bored and want to troll. Hit it up on the day your loot lockout is up and it's usually alright.
It still might be a good place to farm soldiery tomes, for those that aren't up to the new dungeons or don't have access to coil. They've stated it will also drop gil, and if it's a decent amount it might be a nice bonus on top.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but it would be a shame if that place was only worthwhile for 3 months as they obviously put a lot of effort into it.
Agreed. Hopefully 2.3 will have the 2nd layer for CT, we only just walked up to the front door, hopefully it'll let us in the main building next time. Though it wouldn't surprised me if one of the bosses in there is the Cloud of Darkness, or if we see David Bowie (Emperor Mateus) in there.
Emperor Mateus is from FF2, CT is a remake/allusion to the final dungeons (Labyrith of the Ancients, Crystal Tower, and World of Darkness) of Final Fantasy 3. Cloud of Darkness should be CT's final boss, and this image is believed to be showing the major bosses of CT.
Bosses in the image appear to be:
Archeron (Bottom Right)
Scylla (Bottom Left)
Hein (Left, above Scylla)
A recolor of General/Dark General (Right, above Archeron)
Cerberus (Right Middle, above General Dark General)
Xandes (Upper Left corner)
King Ahriman (Upper Right corner)
Cloud of Darkness (Top Center)
I suspect at least 3 more sections of CT with Hein, Xandes and Cloud of Darkness being the final bosses of those sections.
If Mateus is added I suspect it will be in a section that references FF2's final dungeon Pandemonium.
Patches are supposed to alternate between releasing new Coil Turns and New CT sections.
CT is easy and it's not.
CT is totally easy if you have good alliances that know what they're doing. Then it's not hard in the slightest.
However, if half (or more) have no clue what they're doing, or not waiting for all group members to enter, then it is definitely not easy. Then it becomes kind of a frustrating nightmare.
I agree Northern, CT could be so complicated for some. I had been in some really bad groups, and seriously these aren't trolls either.
But I don't know, either people just really suck these days or everyone just became so casual that after 6 months, developers have to make the game easy and hand out gear for everyone. So sad how games are now. A little afraid how tomorrow gaming would be, heck all you need is log in and gear will be in your mail. YAY!
bro, CT is the first one to get naked at the party.
CT is better PvP than Wolves' Den.
Even if it's only i80, CT gear tends to look pretty cool so people will want the pieces for vanity. I feel an immense sense of satisfaction when I look at my Paladin in armour of light gear.
And I also see a lot of folks running it with HQ craftable items to spirit bond for materia.
I think CT will still be a popular dungeon even after the patch.
At least with 2.2 there will be very little reason to do CT at all
I think each instance will have people for it (or is intended to.) Fresh level 50 players have the Main Story roulette (and low level roulette if they want), when they are more geared they have CT and Hard Duty Roulette (or/and WP and AK farm), later Coil (and Extremes if they want), and later the Second Coil. There are new players who freshly reach level 50 all the time. More so when PS4 version is launched.
It seems to me the changes will be good. Now WP is quite easier than AK, so I suppose lots of people do WP and few AK (and AK is needed for the relic quest, if not, even less people would be there.) With easier AK and Pharos Sirius it is more likely people will choose Hard Duty roulette, and players will be more evenly distributed among instances, with less queue problems. Or, if you don't want the roulette, you can at least farm AK and WP and not just WP. CT is a good alternative for a change, not too stressful (but a bit a lottery game depending on the party you end) and it gives loot on top of tomes, so if ilvl 80 loot is good for you, it's worth it.
CT is now a deprecated dungeon (it is now 'worth' significantly less) and is, at best, a myth tomestone and off-class gear farming area with the added 'flavor' of having to deal with two other groups you have to trust to do their job.
Just about everyone has a stupidly-easy job to do except, perhaps, the healers trying to cope with all the willy-nilly damage being suffered by everyone at times on top of making sure their tanks are healthy enough to run around and pretend they're doing something useful (only 3 tanks are ever actually *tanking*, and that's the most of it).
Well CT was already hard for me to get any gear, now it will just be a nightmare.
I mainly did use it as a source to cap on myth really
All I know is CT is going to be the equivalent of Black Friday. Everybody be slamming that need button. ;D
Well, you can need or greed only the items you don't already have. Up to now, many things dropped to the floor because people were saving their weekly loot for that one or two items they really wanted first. Now, if you want the body, but legs drop, you can need them anyway. Next time you won't be able to. Someone else may greed.
What is probable is everyone will greed everything available, unless it's for a class they are sure they will never decide to level up. You never know if you will level it later, and having gear to use just when you reach level 50 is very nice. I think it will be a good place to get gear for your future or actual alts if the one you want for now doesn't drop. Up to now, the big amounts of philo tomes you got while farming myth were spent many times with that goal.
