Caster DPS: Skyshard, Starstorm, and Meteor.
This is all fine, for BLM/THM.
Melee DPS: Braver, Bladedance, and Final Heaven.
This... I don't agree with.
Yes, these all have to do with cosmetics, looks except for BRD which I'll come to soon.
A MNK doing Braver/Bladedance just seems weird, and I know many agree. I have a few suggestions, and I also want you all to post YOUR suggestions for class/job-specific Limit Breaks.
Some are just fine, like for example THM/BLM's Limit Breaks, but I find it a bit disappointing that some classes/jobs share Limit Breaks that very well could've been something more fitting.

Seismic Flip: Think mountain buster, except with more weight to it.

I like all the ideas, but why Zeus for BRD? Honestly doesn't make sense to me. Artemis Arrow should be Limit III considering Artemis is a "God" with a bow.

Some great ideas in there, but I wouldnt want to sacrifice meteor for your LB3 as it just looks fantastic on its way down and at the moment of impact.
However, having a choice to choose alternative LB's - little drop down box or a simple A or B for LB LB2 and LB3 - would be great -

As a BLM I hate that SMNs get meteor. Can't they just summon a fat chocobo that does the same thing as meteor?

Bards are really fine with healer LB.. Do not forget that the original bard, the buffer in tactics, had a heal in his primary mechanics (whenever he was not buffing => healing chant). Also, as a support job, they do not *need* a damage LB

I agree wholeheartedly for bard LBs!
Ours are kind of useless right now- Ive only used it twice in the 3 months Ive played the game, and everytime I have used it, everyone ends up dying instantly again....
Either change the Bard LB, or get rid of the weakness debuff....
I mean- we should atleast have a buffing LB (like the moogle from the king moggle mog fight)!
Especially when we dont natively have healing spells/songs to begin with... -

Dragoon LB3 Highwind- Jumps into the air, wrecks a Garlean airship, and rides it down into his target using his lance as an electric guitar busting some sweet ass riffs all the way down.
On a serious note, I'd give Lancer omnislash over final heaven. But I do think DRG needs a really impressive looking jump ability. I honestly don't like seeing either MNK or DRG using braver or blade dance. -

I'm all up for more diversity in the limit breaks, hell they don't even need to function differently but each class should have it's own animation for it's type of limit break.

Agree, new animations and names would make more sense and I doubt it would cost much in terms of development.
Obviously archer/brd needs completely new limit breaks though which are more in line with their role. -

You'd guys be surprised how appropriate the bard LB might actually be. If I remember correctly, in the last bard quest (level 50 one), Jehantel uses a song that restores a small amount of HP over time. One could argue this is simply because they want a way for the player to survive without a healer, but if you pay close attention, all other NPCs in this game just cast cure regardless of class/job to keep you alive. This song Jehantel uses has it's own animation and own icon. It's very possible this will be one of the job skills once the level cap is raised. It makes sense as well, as we have a song for TP and MP, it's only logical HP would be the next in line. Thus, perhaps SE was thinking ahead when they gave Bards a healing LB and it wasn't just out of pure laziness.

I'm bored of BRD's LB being a heal :/ its assigned the DPS role therefore NEEDS a damage LB. If main DPS goes down (in a 4 person party) it can be a pretty long fight x.x

Well, the thing people need to understand that BRD is support. That's what they do. Yes, they are considered DPS, but they also help the party. In order to do that, they need to sacrifice DPS. Bards sing/play. So for them having the healer LB is kinda fitting. How many times people experienced a duty where both the healers died? Here comes the BRD activating LB3 to save the day. You ain't gonna take that for granted, right? Now as for them having a damage lb; I think it be more fitting if another job similar to ARC gets it. AKA Ranger. So honestly I think BRD is ok with that LB. If ranger ever come, then yea, let's give them a long ranged LB

We already have plenty of dps that will use the LB, Bards do not need it thats just over kill at this point. Too many times when both healers drop and the bard is there to save the day. Leave it as is but change it so every class has a specific LB animation. Because seeing a monk pull out a sword is kind of.... yeah.
