New dance! need a new option!

So here is my post, more specificity in reference to SE video that was shown during the Live Letter part XIII!

So that said! The music is cool and all, but for the dance, it's amazing to see all the people synced and I think it leaves room to a lot of creativity!

So a small suggestion, the implement of a Sync Dance button! Or something similar! It would be awesome! For video record and being silly around, yes yes!

Just do like Guild Wars did, /dance danced, /dance * put a delay. The delay lasted some amount of time (5s?) after when the first person did it, when first persons delay was over, everyone in a small area around the person that used the same type of emote (instrument, dance, dunno what else) with the * would also start their emote.

While I'm digging that dance I have to ask... how long is it? I mean, every time they showed the dancers it was a different dance. Surely it's not more than one dance emote?

What's wrong with there being more than one dance emote?

I support this! There are other games that have this feature and its super fun to use with friends.

We used to have /countdown for syncing up emotes, wish they would bring it back.

I approve of emote-sync feature.

It appeared to be looping, from what I saw in the live letter. The dance's lenght is what you see in the video, and you can notice the characters come back to their starting position just because the camera changes.

The way it was posted on the blog it sounded like there were several dance emotes, and during the live letter they had several emotes on that hotbar (on the right, beneath the mounts). So I think it are four dances, not one long one.

Was going to post this. Back in 1.0 we had a couple of commands that were really useful, like /countdown and /random. /countdown <number> put up a giant blue set of numbers on the person using it that wouldn't show up in screenshots, but everyone could see it. That way everyone knew when to start their emote. Was really handy.

According to this post (at the bottom), there are four new dance emotes.

Ah, nice, I missed that somehow. Must have been the picture of the dresses. Oh god... please don't being Mumor to XIV!

Yeah, I seriously wonder why haven't they added /countdown yet. I miss using that for synchronized dancing (please bring /firedance for the next summer event!). It was also great for taking pictures ans what not.

Totally support this idea!
