Any comments on the production rate of Myth in 2.2?

Philo is going away, DL is dropped in dungeons, philo mats can be purchased with seals now (1500 a pop), and we can exchange our Philo tokens for Myth at some exchange rate to be disclosed in the future.

But has there been any indication as to whether or not we will see an increase in the rate at which Mythology tomes drop to bring it up to where Philo is currently?

I'd like to see it remain in its current state, especially since people are just going to spam T2/T4 all day for 50 myth a pop for 5-10 minutes of work : D

They said something like, anywhere philosophy tomes are awarded mythology will be awarded instead. I'm guessing it's going to go pretty quickly after the patch.

I think it's going to be fun.

Myth is pretty pointless. Think about how often you use Philo now. That is how often you will use Myth....

I'd also love to know what ratio you will get when you turn in your Philo tomes for Myth tomes. I'd love if it were 1:1, but that might be too good to be true.

Also, just noticed that the CT weekly loot restriction is going away.

I90 gear is going to be the norm. It is going to be base level gear. I know some people are upset because they took a while to grind out their sets, but it's now officially entry level. There's absolutely no reason for them to try to make myth time consuming to acquire. And guess what? Half a year from now, your i110 gear will be the same.

I'd like to see them....

Pre 2.2 LVL 50 Dungeons = 100 Myth plus 30 Soldiery
CT = 200 Myth + 50 Soldiery
Post 2.2 LVL 50 Dungeons = 150 Myth plus 50 Soldiery
BT = 70 Myth plus 20 Soldiery
MS Roulette = 200 Myth bonus
HL Roulette 1 (pre 2.2 dungeons) = 200 Bonus Myth
HL Roulette 2 (post 2.2 dungeons) = 200 Bonus Myth and 40 Soldiery

Currently, You can buy a piece of DL by simply doing the roulettes each day. Myth pieces, as they're entry level now, should be the same.

Not sure it won't be 1:1 trade though. Seems myth gear is becoming the new darklight.

CT weekly restriction is gone, and you can roll on multiple items in each run as well. Time to greed all the things.

Which was literally almost entirely gearing up for Titan HM. So... you'd be using it a lot, especially to gear alts.

I agree, after the patch all of the AF+1 and hero gear = current Darklight set. So the way that SE is doing away with the philo tomes makes sense. Players will grind Myth tomes to get their basic set for the new content. What I am excited about is that the new level of relic should be the iLv 115 since SE has stated it will take a while to get. It makes me believe that it will take just as much as it did on XI.

But that is only true because everyone have their full Darklight set for all of their jobs. At the start everyone use them all of the time. Do you have a full AF+1 and hero gear set for all off your jobs? That is what is going to be the basic set now, everyone will be using Myth like crazy to get all of their jobs to iLv 90 since it is going to become the minimal requirement for Party Finder.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. I've only played for a few months and have 4 (5 if you count summoner/scholar) at level 50 and I've just started getting the Myth related pieces. It may be pointless if you are fully geared in all Myth right now, but there are a lot of people that are not.

Myth gear is the new darklight in 2.2, there will be a lot of it everywhere. Getting 110 gear from coil will take awhile.

And that's what hardcore people need to worry about. They should stop worrying about past accomplishments and look towards new ones. Why so many people want to keep older content difficult to access is beyond me. Especially when it's only going to be easier because there's new content for these people to dig their teeth into.
