When did they play this? I actually watch the whole thing except for two parts... one time b4 theatrhytm and 1 time after (bough FC house for FC, so idk my attention was there then)

Actually it was said during live letter! This was made from the Main Scenario team working the new quests, and the guy wanted to make good impression so he fan made that on his free time! His name was Maoshi..something, forgot already.

Scrap ARR and develop FF14 16bit mmo, SE.

We have some cool attacks like Dragon Kick (breakdancing as my FC calls it), Demolish and Howling Fist. I'm just kinda disappointed I spot every other jobs' iconic moves and nothing from monk as I love it so much.
Edit: Fist of Fire and Shoulder Tackle at the start of the battle so I guess my complaint is invalid.

It looks like they took FFXI Dancer animations and ported them over to XIV? That said, I still want these for my elezen >_> Elezen /dance is the worst dance in XIV... it's like they're not even trying ;_;

So realistic of corse the DRG dies right at the start and wins the mount.

The only thing it missed was someone DCing halfway through the fight. I loved how the DRG that died near the start got the mount though!

I don't need to watch random people anymore. This will be my new strategy video!

When did that start that drgs are bad and die to stuff and win the loot despite being dead.

Well people are asking for practice boss fights. This would a cool and unique way to do it without ruining the actually experience.

It's been around for some time now. On my server the meme was exposed due to people rolling DRG(read: cool I get to be Kain Highwind/ I love this AF!) and dying a lot. Before they were buffed a lot of people dread having one in the party. Not just because of the low DPS, but the high death rate found in many who played. Adding to this the fact that the loot drops in coil were high for them the meme was born.

best part of the live letter hands down.

I hope this is a golden saucer game... I would love to see it (and other fights) make it there.

Finally, video evidence that the surefire way to get the Nightmare is to sacrifice a Dragoon.

lolDRG goes back to FFXI. DRGs were the joke of DDs in FFXI because Tanaka was always afraid that buffing the job would upset "BARANCE!" since they had a wyvern. This despite the fact that wyverns were frequently one shotted by AoEs and were at one time the DRG 2hr ability. So subpar DPS, paper thin defense due to no access to heavier armors, no evasion bonuses like MNK meant lolDRG. They've come back a bit recently but unfortunately they keep overbuffing jobs like MNK SAM and DRK and giving DRGs Weapon Skills with unnecessary Attack penalites so it's still lolDRG usually.
