Really appreciate a healer named Ydera Templar and a tank named Ylissa Darkmane (I think that's right I'm not sure about the first name) who helped me with AK (yes the Amdapor Keep) through Duty Finder! I have a IL70 bow but was only IL58 overall and the funny thing was the other DD (damage dealer, means DPS) had a IL55 weapon so I really appreciate Templar and Darkmane sticking with us. Beat AK on our first go with plenty of time to spare.
Whoever was that DD who plug-pulled after I said I was new, just desserts, I mean obviously to get a relic weapon we all have to go through AK without a relic weapon ourselves. Anyways big shout out to the healer and tank and in general I think the endgame community is nice, especially with small groups. I think once you go 8 man to 25 man CT you get the "mass anonymity" effect where some people feel they can be more obnoxious because they feel impugn to blowback by hiding in a larger group. Accountability folks, and thanks again!

(Duty Roulette works within Duty Finder, and unfortunately there's not a nice-people-only filter to use the Roulette.)

I think it's awesome for you to give them your thanks. I wish I could remember the names of those who were patient with my mom. She's 65 and normally does things solo or she had me and a friend run her through a dungeon on our capped characters in WoW.
Of course that's not possible in ff14 but everyone we've gotten in duty finder has been really patient and helpful. They've even took the dungeon slow to give her time to catch up.
So even though I don't remember your names I am very grateful for the kindness and patience that have been extended to my mom.

I'm happy newbies show their appreciation, though I believe that most people should just lend a hand. It should just be natural. For me, sometimes a few FC mates and I just randomly join a DF (mostly Titan hard) to help a player get their relic for the sheer hell of it. It feels good to do so, especially when they say thank you!

i made a healer and tank just for helping people in low lvls duty finder ...so it doesnt matter if its duty rulete or whatever ...yes some people love to help ...they are not angels or better than anyone else ..just love to feel that are ''helpfull ''^^
