Content and progressing and the future

I've been enjoying this game a lot and still I'm but I can't dev team see this?

So I started this game on lunch, I played it alone for some time but when I hit end game pugs couldn't kill Titan HM.

So I started up my own FC I managed to grab some players here and there and we were doing well, we have cleared turn 5 about 13 times we have had a lot of interest with new members joining so I started up another group! and they have cleared turn 5 about 5 times are so

I feel like there has been a drought for us with content, game has been out 7 months on the 27th march, We have got around this by levelling all are jobs and classes and talking them to Coil.

Are we going to have to wait another 6 months to get greater than or equal to another bind coil of bahamut? if so this drought will cost them dearly in subs.

You're totally right. 4 new bosses every 6 months just won't do. Subs will probably drop by a lot when we're halfway to 2.3.

News flash less than 5% of the player base has cleared Turn 5. It's certainly nice that you've cleared it so many times but you're the exception, not the rule.

What do you think made World of Warcraft such a succes? It wasn't the people idling in Orgrimmar, or doing Stratholme for the 500th time, or people afk'ing in AV. It was people raiding, and other people seeing those raids were like 'hey, this is pretty awesome'.
PVE content should always be a main focus in a PVE-oriented game.

This game is aimed at PvE players mainly, like to think they can provide lasting content for them

Most of it is because finding 7 other dedicated players that want to do that annoying fight is hard. They are happy to log in and run t1-4 but t5 they could care less.

Does that mean the initial content was meant to last a whole year?

Damn, that's some great content.

For a majority of the player base it probably will last until 2.3, or close to it. Considering that would be in June based on their planned timing of 3 months per patch, I'd say that's not that bad.

It's not easy content when you have to find 7 dedicated people to beat it. Of course it's going to be easier when you can find that. Isnt that how the whole world works? Sports, Work, and VIDEO GAMES. When all the stars are aligned, everything is easy. Man, the common sense in peeps these days are so wonked.

A whole 7 people?! Oh wow, such an impossible feat to achieve in an MMO. Come on, 8 people is nothing. 40 people raids with higher difficulty than Coil used to be a thing in WoW.

So because I havet cleared turn 5 I don't raid at all? Wow, guess I need to re-examine my life.

Am i saying it was impossible? I'm saying it's not easy when you have to make all the stars align to beat it. Let me give you a challenge? Go DF just Titan HM, and tell me of 10 tries how many times you beat it. I bet you won't even win 1/3 of the time. How is that easy, if it was easy, it doesnt matter what you go in with, you would beat it 10/10. That is just Titan HM, try doing that for all the Extremes.

And what dose finding 8 people or 40 people have anything to do with my piont? Doo was the one that pointed out this game's challenge is to find the right people. My point is you can say that about anything that you do in life.

When you have to make the stars align to beat or do something, it's not easy, you're just making it easier.

Man, there's no need of stars being aligned to kill Titan HM, come on. Yes, you probably won't beat it alot in DF. What did you expect? Raids aren't meant to be done through a Duty Finder. Proper raids anyway.

I thought it was easy, if it was easy, you wouldnt have problems in Duty Finder.

I think it's fair to say that while Titan HM is still relatively easy, people in the Duty Finder or just THAT bad or very new :)

That's my point, if it was easy, bad or new people wouldnt have a problem beating it. If it was easy, people wouldnt have to watch videos to learn the fight. If it was easy, people wouldnt have to pay groups to beat it for them. Of course it becomes easier once you are experienced, geared, and finding the right group. You can basically say that about any encounter that existed for any MMO.

IMO its more about finding people with patience...

After getting my relic, I would usually play a Titan HM drinking game... every time the party wiped, I would drink... being an MT in that fight is so boring and easy that it was possible to do... anyway, after one or two wipes, everyone just bounces... stick it out and learn... 2 wipes in titan HM is max 15 minutes...

Yup, so true. In a game where most players leave after one or two wipes. I believe most of it is because phase/rotation battle is too unforgiving or boring to most.

That's not the game's fault though, that's because they're used to being pandered.
