Not sure how to do it if it's up yet. Logging in with a one time password didn't do anything special.

I am beginning to think the subscription reward will be this same feature. Would make so much more sense than anything people have been speculating. So that'd be 2 free teleports. :)

My PC is secure :P But I did this anyway for the free teleports

MAKE SURE TO WRITE DOWN YOUR EMERGENCY PASSWORD!!

Reading the reviews for the token app, a LOT of people have had issues with it resetting and locking them out of game and waiting for hours/days to call customer support. An easy way to avoid that issue is to write down your emergency removal password and keep it someplace safe.

Yeah people are bashing it hard when it says there when registering to Write your Emgergency Code down!...

people just not paying attention.

I dislike this...because in order for some people to be able to use the one time password it cost them money. I do not own a smart phone or fancy phone, so I can't use the free option. So in order for me to be able to take advantage of something that a lot of people are able to do for free - I have to pay.

Thats kinda how our country works to be fair... Ya know theres a lot of people who would rather drive instead of taking the bus, but they cannot afford a car. BUT luckily this isn't physical and there may be a workaround. An Andriod emulator may be helpful...

Personally, I feel it's more like trying to convince people to make their account more secure, to lessen the amount of account recovery requests by people stupid enough to give their password around or download third party tools.

(1) Take screenshot. (2) Upload to Drop Box. (3) ... there is no step 3.

You do know buying a new Security Token is only like $15.. not bad IMO...

You can run the software token app on your PC using BlueStacks. No smartphone or $12 security token required.

You can skip Step 4 because you need a smartphone to make use of that feature.

Tell me about it. I lost my old token last September. I'd get the software token if it was available for WP, but like hell I'm going to downgrade my Lumia for an iphone.

Atm as long as u protect urself against all popular hacking methods (phishing, keyloggers, poorly protected fansite database hacking, dictionary attacks, brute force attacks etc), ur more likely to have ur account locked by software token malfunction than by getting hacked.

Greetings,

I'd like to mention some additional information for those wondering. The destination that you can select for the one-time password bonus to designate for your free teleport is limited to aetherytes only and your private housing aetheryte cannot be selected.

In the future there may be a possibility that we expand the selection, but at the moment we are unable to answer for sure. We appreciate your understanding.

Ok? Just buy it and keep your account secure, that should be the main reason, not saving 100-400 gil in a game where you can make that in barely 10 minutes in even low level dungeons.

For those who don't know, you can download a program called Blue Stacks(android emulator) and download the software token from there. I use it.
