If your account is not secure, this should motivate you to make it secure.

That's awesome.
Why hello there Limsa :D
i thought it was a joke at first but lol its real
Not sure how to do it if it's up yet. Logging in with a one time password didn't do anything special.
Tried registering favorite as well didn't get a free option. The feature isn't in the game yet. 2.2 feature perhaps?
oooh shiny :)
I expect those who already have will get it too.
3 reduced rates
1 free
1 home
that will be good until the 1 year veteran reward
I start to think that the Veteran reward will do the same thing. Give you a free teleport to a specific place.
Pretty happy ^^
I am beginning to think the subscription reward will be this same feature. Would make so much more sense than anything people have been speculating. So that'd be 2 free teleports. :)
how ironic - the security token "reward" is infinitely better than the 1 year veteran reward xD
Guys please read the page properly...
"As of patch 2.2"
If only they would let Windows Phone users get the software....
This feature is not active until the patch. :)
My PC is secure :P But I did this anyway for the free teleports
MAKE SURE TO WRITE DOWN YOUR EMERGENCY PASSWORD!!
Reading the reviews for the token app, a LOT of people have had issues with it resetting and locking them out of game and waiting for hours/days to call customer support. An easy way to avoid that issue is to write down your emergency removal password and keep it someplace safe.
Am I the only one that read? lolQuote:
In-Game Bonus for One-Time Password Users
As of patch 2.2, when logged into the game with a one-time password, you will have the option to designate one aetheryte of your choice as a free destination. Teleporting to your free destination will incur no gil fee. Moreover, you may change your free destination as many times as desired.
I dislike this...because in order for some people to be able to use the one time password it cost them money. I do not own a smart phone or fancy phone, so I can't use the free option. So in order for me to be able to take advantage of something that a lot of people are able to do for free - I have to pay.
Don't give up hope.

seems great to me.
And for those of you who tried, this will only be available in the update on March 27th
Thats kinda how our country works to be fair... Ya know theres a lot of people who would rather drive instead of taking the bus, but they cannot afford a car. BUT luckily this isn't physical and there may be a workaround. An Andriod emulator may be helpful...
Wow, wouldn't ya know... hit the nail on the head.
A security-token minion for those who have the security token activated would rock xD
You can run the software token app on your PC using BlueStacks. No smartphone or $12 security token required.
How to run Android apps on a PC:

You can skip Step 4 because you need a smartphone to make use of that feature.
Atm as long as u protect urself against all popular hacking methods (phishing, keyloggers, poorly protected fansite database hacking, dictionary attacks, brute force attacks etc), ur more likely to have ur account locked by software token malfunction than by getting hacked.
Greetings,
I'd like to mention some additional information for those wondering. The destination that you can select for the one-time password bonus to designate for your free teleport is limited to aetherytes only and your private housing aetheryte cannot be selected.
In the future there may be a possibility that we expand the selection, but at the moment we are unable to answer for sure. We appreciate your understanding.
For those who don't know, you can download a program called Blue Stacks(android emulator) and download the software token from there. I use it.
Edit: Oh crap, didn't see someone already posted it.
