Seems kind of crappy for 1 year and more rewards, maybe they should of switched it and gave this stuff to 30 day rewards and the fantasia as a 1 year reward.

Wow a one time teleport :( Couldn't they at least do like a 24 hour free teleport... I drop like 20k a day teleporting

Odin Minion is cool. Ticket? That's like 400G saved... I don't really see why the bothered with that, if it was something you could use over and over again, but on a cooldown (1 free teleport/day) then that would be cool, but one use only? Pathetic.

Not to sound like a broken record on top of the previous comments, but the "one-time free teleport ticket" is a bit of a spit in the face to the players. Many players at that level can drop the necessary gil for a teleport without a problem. Maybe a three-time use per day would be something useful, or a one-day free teleport ticket. That would be much more useful.

There's still some confusion surrounding the Aetheryte ticket. Hopefully a community rep clears it up soon, but some are thinking that it might be a consumable like minions and mount whistles where you use it once and then you get the effect of it forever. In which case, Free teleports forever would be freaking amazing.

However if it is the 1-time free teleport it's kind of a slap in the face. 500 gil max? really?

I am unimpressed. At least they're free extras and not something I have to work or pay for.

Free single teleport for having payed a subscription.. I don't like it.

Seems to me like they are experimenting with a bit of pagar para ganar

Minions = meh, still cool, but I'm not biting to stay for a year.

Barding of Light = awesome, that alone gets me through rank 6 into 7. lol

Ticket = if it's one time use and then gone, crappiest reward ever. It should be a perma price reduction that stacks with company buff reduction.

They do know that the most expensive teleport is like, 500 gil right? You can get that in an instant.

It's bad enough that it's 90 days per rank instead of 30 like it was for the first 3 ranks. I haven't even gotten the rank 5 reward yet.


EDIT: On the official site the wording sounds more like the aetheryte ticket is a one time free teleport.

They should open a new job for a 1 year reward

They must have been running out of ideas with that Aetheryte Ticket being a reward.

the ticket is more suited for a 60 day subscriber than a rank 6 whatever many days that may be subscriber.

So in that rationale, it's a horrible reward.

Not as exciting as the Behemoth mount, but the barding is nice.

If it gave you free teleports all the time yea it could be good but 1 time use that just saves you 400-500 gil max not that great of a reward.

I bet it till be a port every 30-1hr CD.

If it is 1 time use then a Fantasia would be better

But that's literally what it says it is. If you have any contrary information, by all means provide it. Nobody else has.

Every single veteran reward has been a permanant reward thus far, whether an item you keep forever, a choco barding, a minion, etc.

The Fantasia potion is also a permanant change to your characters appearance in terms of race, gender, etc....

There is no reason to think that the 1 year reward, which yoship said would be "special" would only be an item worth 500 gil. The logical conclusion is that the item is not described correctly, vs. thinking it's a one time free teleport.

Well, an Odin minion is pretty special...

LOL @ the people naïve enough to think its a one-time only free teleport... SE is infamous for its poor translations & descriptions. I'm 100% it's lifetime.

how do you go from behemoth mount to a ticket? this ticket better be like the magic ticket from Last Action Hero, lol.

So... consuing the ticket reduces teleportation costs to zero permanently?

That would be a good tactic to get people immediately subbing for a full year. It would help bump SE's revenue after their loss last financial year. Nice play.

ONE FREE TELEPORT?! Oh my god! Where is my credit card?! I HAVE to get this, damn the cost! Forget the money! Yoshida, take my social security number too! SO WORTH IT!

Personally, I think it's a one time use to unlock item like minions, mounts and some furniture (kinda) but really, is it such a big deal if it's not?

I don't think most people pay for the vet rewards, I think most people pay to play the game. As such, the vet rewards are nice extras on the side, most of which never even get used outside of their first day or two anyhow (from what I've seen). It shouldn't really be a big deal if they're particularly awesome or not so long as the game is.

My personal observances regarding use of previous rewards:
Wind-up Cursor Minion: seen on maybe 4 people as a regular thing outside of their first couple of days, more common for a minute during screen shots then put away again.
Fantasia: Can't tell, probably used whenever available, popular.
Black Chocobo Chick: Haven't seen this little guy running around at all outside of his first couple of days.
Cascadier Uniform Voucher: Haven't seen anyone wearing these even during their first couple of days. Lots still haven't even traded in their vouchers unless to get back some space.
Beady Eye: Seen this once or twice outside of first couple of days.
Voidal Resonator: Fairly popular, though not as popular as behemoth, chocobo, coerl, etc.
Minion of Light: Seen these once or twice outside of first couple of days.
Black Mage Barding: Seen this only once including first couple of days, thought it'd be more popular o.O
Wind-up Leader: Haven't seen these little guys running around at all outside of their first couple of days.
Behemoth Warhorn: Pretty popular, see a fair few of these running around.

Aetheryte ticket = P2W

A better reward would be a mini Aetheryte where your friends who also have one can teleport to you...
In description its clear: one time use! So it is horrible... seriously...

It permanently removes all gil fees from teleports. That's a damn good reward, I'll go for it right away.

But as for 7th rank rewards, ugh so is that something which resembles CT's tank gear? I never liked it, but oh well. The barding isn't that bad, but they should have thrown another fantasia.

Even still, letting some people teleport for free forever just because they're subscribed longer puts them at a pretty heavy advantage. Maybe once in a while or something, but forever is too much. Then again once is just pointless.

It should have been something aesthetic. The gesture is nice, but once you start giving away things that matter for the game, you start running into issues like this.

I give more gil away randomly per day. What a facepalm. I will make sure to use it on a nice 500 gil teleport. (frothing at the mouth now)

Would have been perfectly legit to get a free 100 teleport pass or something. That is just frankly pathetic.
