I think bunny ears should be longer. Do no want a small eared cat clone as Viera.

If there is ever a bunny race added, those ears would be perfect. I personally dislike the weird looking long ears.

When I envision a Viera, I see muuuuuuuuch larger ears. The ears on this character look more miqo'te-ish, but definitely not exact. I can't place my finger on why they don't look exactly like a miqo'te, either... but I will say the body shape does not look distinctly miqo'te-ish. From the image, I get the feeling she is of normal hyur size (or bigger), especially compared to the Lalafell. I personally would like smaller ears on a Viera so... that'd be nice if this is a teaser. :S

Those don't look like bunny ears, but her spine is definitely broken from the pelvis. Ouch.

People did talk about it. Most say it's just a stylized drawing of a mi'qote. But some, like you, claim its proof of Viera. Looking at it...those ears are no where near long enough to be a Viera. So unless they are introducing a new race that looks exactly like Miq's with short bunny ears, I'd say don't get your hopes up.

Lot's realized it's a Stylized Miqote.

If they are Viera, that's super disappointing.
A whole new race that's just another race with longer ears and a shorter/no tail.

I don't know.. hard to say really. Either it is a Miqote, which is drawn that way.. longer ears, wrong position on the head and wrong angle of the actual ears and let aside that the Body itself looks more bulky than any Miqote... OR it is something else. Not really a Viera, since the Ears are too short, but i wonder if that is a Fluffy Tail on her back or just some weird way of drawing shadows. But yeah.. the man char to her left also is way more bulkier than a highlander can be.. so might just a "style-factor" in drawing an actual miqote.

Now I'm not stating that it is in fact a Viera, but the ears to me seem to high up on the head and the body is far too tall and proportioned more like an Elezen than a Miqote.

Plus given the new hooded character, who knows. It's speculation at best.

I also like to point out that the other Miqote in that image posted above has properly proportioned ears.

It's a miqote, the only real difference is that she has the new hairstyle in 2.2, that's why it doesn't look like the usual miqote.

Only a Miqo'te could be that flexible. I mean, just look at that waist! I can't unsee it... :D

That's just how miqo'tes are drawn. All the concept art on the races have exaggerated features.

DOn't know if people have noticed but the image is tilted. She is actually sitting down. When you tilt your head to the left and look at the full pic her waist/hip angles look normal. ^^

Look at the other miquote further into the background. His/her ears are pretty tall, as well.

let's see the Miqo'te in question is wearing the PLD AF2, WAR appears to be wearing AF which the lighting is making blue, Lal in the air appears to be wearing BLM AF but with a Different hat, and the Female Highlander is wearing the Melee Coliseum gear, only the Male Miqo'te, the Elezaan Scholar, Lala WHM and the Highlander Pugilist who is weirdly shirtless I can't place


and as to the topic, it's a Miqo'te, look at the male one in the background his ears are longer than usual and placed further towards the top of the head as well.

I think the inner-ear would be facing forward as well if it were a vierra.

In the fan kit section of the Lodestone there's a wallpaper of the Wolve's Den. If you watch closely where the Mi'qote bard is aiming, there's a mysterious figure jumping on the scene. Has straight up long ears and tail. Is it Viera or another race?

No that's one of the Armors that are supposed to be released for the Wolves Den. It was shown in another thread but I don't remember which. There was a Lion like armor, Snake like armor, I think one was Stag like and then that Fox like one.


I'm in the, Its a Miqo'te camp with this one, the ears are fashioned backwards the same as a cat's does.
