Yup, Allagan2 tank armor looks just as badass ingame as it did in the concept art.

Definitely not. The PLD is wielding a sword that is looks (//EDIT: A bit less, on further examination) like the one wielded by Acheron in LotA, while the preview on the Lodestone shows that the new PLD relic is a wide-bladed silver weapon. When it first swaps to to BC section, you see a lone WAR wandering in wearing Allagan tank armor and assumedly the new Allagan axe -- you see him again at the very end of the second with the same gear.

All those new Allagan sets!! I need a new pair of pants! -drools-

Could be, but the design looks completely off the original relics and looks a little evilish like Allagan weapons.

I've also noted that all of them emits a red glow - not the kind of fire red glow from Ifrit's weapons, but the kind of glow from current Allagan weapon but a deeper red colour.

To me the design seems to suggest Allagan.

Those new allagan gear looks good, better than current one imo

This should be the new relic upgrade under Gerolt's Masterworks

So... is Halatali Hard an 8 man dungeon or are there going to be NPC's joining us with the fights (there's more than 4 people on the "final boss" fight)?

Apparently its a restored training grounds, almost like a Coliseum, so there might be NPC's fighting with us in the dungeon at certain parts.

About the update,
I'm really, really excited for the Glamour system and new Crafting recipes!
I was really dreading having to do pvp for the Acolyte set but now it looks like we will be able to craft a dyable version! I'm so happy I didn't grind pvp for it XD

I thought for sure we was going to get a new job tease at the end...sigh.

I don't think neither the red glowing weapons nor the others ones (pld brd and blm) are the new relic.

Red ones are too much alike. They all have a red think glowing, Relic are supposed to be different from each other, not have the same looks.


As for the other ones, they just don't feel like relic (maybe Gilgamesh, or Halatali, since it's a coliseum, weapons ?). I mean, pld weapon and shield are ok, nice even, but it just don't feel relic/mythic/legendary weapons when you see them.

Looks like all of these weapons are being used during the Thornmarch Extreme portion of the video. There's some kind of glow effect on them, but it looks rather subtle.

That new npc from the main story.. doesn't that kinda have a ninja feel to it? ;)

There isn't any glowing effet on them, it must be because of the mist in the arena.

We can clearly see WAR and DRG weapons, and the global look/colors look very much alike. Silver/Obsidian base, with more or less gold depending on the weapons.

Maybe a weapon made by Gerolt, with the scepter of King Moogle (witch is silver/obsidian with gold too) ?

Great a months worth of content to last us 4 months...Thank god Wildstar is coming out in June.
