No that was Gaius von Baelsar. This is the big bad from 1.0. Nael van Darnus.

Nope, don't know who that is.

But I notice the more funny-looking your helmet is, the more important you are to the story. So i guess that guy was important to FFXIV pre-2.0.

I read about him. I wish I could have challenged him and the disconnection error sub boss.

he looks more like Zalera from Final Fantasy Tactics than any Raven :|

The White Raven is Nael van Darnus, Legatus of the VII. Legion
Project Meteor was his idea. Gaius was against it, because he wanted to conquer a realm, not a wasteland.

nael? he's the character that got me interested in the 1.0 story.

i really hope they add rivenroad using the minstrel ballad concept, that looks like a fun fight.

Lag boss was the worst. Avoiding his frontal lasers only to still get hit by them was not a fun experience. You can experience nearly the same level of annoyance fighting Titan EM if you're in Australia but play on a NA server.

PS: I'm not even sure why this thread exists. Talk about irrelevant...
