Question about upcoming Vanity system

Hello all, I was just wondering since Square Enix has confirmed there will be a vanity system added to the game via a future update, would dungeon loot also be added to vanity? I am of course talking about uniques such as the Foestriker set, a gear set that looks great on dps classes. So do you think Square Enix will include items such as that in their vanity system? :)

Look, here is all that we know about the vanity system so far:
-The system is called "Mirage Prism"
-It's SUPPOSED to come out at the end of this month (lol yeah right)
-Crafting may play some role
-A warrior will not be seen wearing something like a mage's role and vice versa

No further details have been released. Really wish they would though, as this system is pretty much the make-or-break factor for if I'll be upgrading to the collector's edition.

It's called Glamours, not Mirage Prism. And crafters will be involved.

But we don't know to what extent. It could be anywhere from simply crafting a consumable item that can be traded for transmutation or us having to directly request the transmutation to a DoH (Like request meld).

Taking the last two comments...

-The system is called "Glamours" or "Glamour Prism" there have been somewhat conflicted accounts. But the word glamour is in there somewhere.
-It's coming in Patch 2.2.
-Crafters will make the crystals that will be used to "reflect the appearance of gear" or some such nonsense. They are supposedly easy to make and shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.
-Limitations attached to it so classes cannot hide their true classes, as stated a warrior won't be able to run in wearing a mages robe, and vice versa.

Wouldn't it be easier if they did it like other mmos have done it? Particularly DCUO, where you choose from a list which item you would like to be in the vanity slot.

Two bird and one rock situation. Namely, crafters need something to be of use to more than just other crafters, and this game needed a vanity system.

From my understanding of posts I have seen crafters will become even more useful than ever with a future update including higher level crafting recipes yes? All the more reason to include vanity as part of crafting.

awwwhh, that sucks. i was hoping it wouldnt have the limitation so i could mix up the different armor types and make my own outfits. too bad... :(

Lolwut? The PS3 has NOTHING to do with the decisions make it crafter-based. People have just been crying about making crafting relevant, so Yoshi figured that the Glamour system was the best way to do that.
