"Hide/display head gear" option should be class specific

Exactly as the title states, the "Hide/display head gear" option should be class specific. While not a HUGE problem, it is pretty annoying having to constantly change it if you want to see head gear on certain classes but not others.

I concur. I always have to manually turn it off and or on.... I forget sometimes, it's annoying.

Although this hasn't occurred to me personally, I do feel this would be a good idea to send forward.

That is a wonderful, extremely welcome change.

Any word on permitting us to hide jewelry? Many of us dislike having to wear earrings.

Any chance we can get a hide headgear option for retainers?

I love the headlamp on the Miner, but hate that when I change to Armorer I can't see my face without entering in /visor again.

I'm all over the ability to put hoods up or down on various robes or cowls. Acolyte's robe would be fantastic, as would the WHM relic gear. Don't need to adjust their stats or ability to wear headgear either...

For the people that dont want to wait till 2.28 - there is something called macro in this game which you even can use for changing Classes

1. Save a gearset as normal (or use the ones you already have)
2. Write a macro containing the lines:

/micon "#" "gearset"
/gearset change #
/displayhead on/off
/visor

use on or off wether you want to show the head or not
# is the number of the saved gearset which you can find in the gearsetlist or as small number if you drag a gearset into a hotbar
use /visor if you want it to change from the normal look i.e. as dragoon if you want the helmet to open. Do not use the line if you want it to be standard

3. profit ^^

P.S.: I use that with all my classes and different sets. Comes especially handy to activate additional skills on BOT and MIN b/c you can just add another line in.

P.P.S.: Remember that these macros will change if you change the number of a set and save it to another number.

Unfortunately, your visor settings will not be saved. However, the display settings for your main and off-hand weapons/tools will be saved.

Why not take it a step further? Since you can wear different 'sets' of clothing and the fact one char can have all jobs why not allow if you show head or weapon options also with set?
