Lucent FC now recruiting players of all levels

Hello!

<O_o> Lucent FC is recruiting all level players to join our FC on Sargatanas server.


What we do:

Currently we clear T1-T4 of Coil. We're working on downing EX primals and T5 coil. We have no issues clearing any other dungeon or trial. Our biggest issue is getting people on the same schedule to do an event. Currently we only do an event twice a week. We're looking to expand upon that with more people.

The Deal:

We run from 8:30pm-11pm EST/5:30pm-8:pm PST. Times sometimes change depending who is on.
We're willing to help any player, any level, any job, with anything. If you're looking for a cool laid back FC that gets things done, give us a shout. We don't bite ever. We understand it takes time to learn methods and we're really good with teaching.

Who we are:

Previously we were on Ragnarok legacy server. We decided to move to a more NA time friendly server. We're pretty small in number currently, about 15. A good number of our members have been playing MMOs together for years. I met Lucent on Ragnarok, and they helped me work through my first relic, when my own FC required full Darklight gear for Chimera.... We're really good with helping one another out with whatever we need, new players to veterans. We are more casual-social than hardcore, but we like to get things done as well. We like to joke and have fun while we do it. If you're easily offended by jokes, we may not be the FC you're looking for.

I think Tru just means if you're a stick in the mud, you probably won't be happy here. We like to joke around & give each other crap, but it's always in fun & not to be taken seriously. I've been with Lucent since I met them years ago in Aion & I couldn't ask for a better bunch of friends to game with. They're good people that also happen to be great players.

First, Thanks for asking. Second I think Seph nailed it. Currently I give Deorro Yee a lot of flak. But he returns it without skipping a beat. We never outright throw jokes at people for the sake of putting them down or anything of the nature. When I toss out a joke, i expect to get zinged right back. That's all it is. The follow up post was more to show that when I wasn't receiving the assistance I needed from my own FC, a random group of strangers helped me out. Then I in turn helped them out. And in the end, left my old FC to join Lucent. No regrets since.

If you're looking for a social/end game FC, give us a try! We like to run that end game, but we're not elitist pricks about it & have no problem running learning runs for our FC mates. If you're interested in an FC that actually talks to each other & helps out when they can (rather than a bunch of statics sharing the same tag who never bother to talk to the rest of their FC members or socialize outside their static), we may just be the right fit for you! :D

Hi there, Caspar! Currently, we only have 1 active 50 bard at the moment. Our other 50 bard is inactive atm due to some irl stuffs. In any event, the weekly cap's being removed for Coil turns 1 - 5 in the upcoming patch, so we'd be able to fit you in runs regardless. Your item level is fine for Coil turns 1 - 4...we all learned those turns in mainly Darklight gear ourselves since CT wasn't yet released at the time we were learning Coil lol. =P

Everybody's mainly online weekdays after 5 p.m. PDT & on pretty much all weekend, so if you're still interested, go ahead & apply in game or send a tell to any of the following people:

I can see you are recruiting as many people as possible but what I want to know is if you have any "core" like groups. My friend and I have been looking around for a consistent FC to join and venture with. We're both really active and are just looking for a good group of people to get through endgame content with. We've completed everything up to Turn 5 (reaching Twisters) and are pretty much geared (as of 2.1, yay for newer gear!).

My main classes are WHM and WAR exclusively. My friends main classes are MNK and BRD though he is just gonna gear up his PLD as of now. We're pretty much a pair and have gotten through most of the content on our own (except for Coil obviously).

We like to lead and brainstorm on how to get through content as well as help whoever needs it. We don't prefer competition within a group who should be helping each other reach the top, so don't worry, we aren't elitists at all :P. Hope to hear from any of you soon! We are also EST based :D

Hi Selene! We currently have one "core" group, but only because we've been so busy trying to build up the FC since we moved here. Currently we have 20 active 50's w/5 more about to hit 50. Our current plan is to spam Coil for our new 50's the first 2 weeks of patch (to gear & catch them up to us) at which point we'll hopefully all be moving into the new content together. We'd rather do this than just take our core group forward & leave the rest to fend for themselves...we wouldn't be very good leaders if we did that lol & good luck keeping ppl when you don't invest any time in them.

We've got a mix of EST (I know that at least 6 of our 50's are EST) & PDT players. There should def be ppl around on your play times. After the 2 weeks of Coil spam mentioned above, we'll be formalizing scheduling, grouping, etc. as we definitely want to move forward in content...just want to bring as many people with us as possible so we can all have fun together! If all this sounds good to you & your friend, we'd absolutely love to have you both! =)

I have been ridin' solo for a long time, been looking for an fc that gets things done but all ive gotten as fcs with no people on most of te time or people unable to even beat turn 1.

I have all jobs from i81 to i90 and I am an exceptional Bard.

I am able to do t1-t5, all ex primals except leviathan.
