When will we be able to purchase mutliple properties?

I seem to recall that this was supposed to be a feature, so a FC could own a property in each of the city states. I *thought* it was already in, but we're getting "sorry you can't buy more" message when we went to get our FC a secondary vacation cottage away from our main house HQ. Really disappointed, as we recently took in another FC who was looking forward to a cottage bought with their contributions. Is this still coming in and do we even know when? Or are we already supposed to be able to and it's some sort of bug?

It's not in the game yet and no word when it is coming. I'm assuming they didn't want obscenely wealthy legacy players buying entire neighborhoods for themselves.

Well at least we know it's not a bug then, but I wish we could get some sort of ETA on it.

so wait they made the prices huge so wealthy players would not purchase all the land or at least i seem to recall that to be their reasoning, but they made it so you can only buy one plot of land anyway?

Kinda bull, my fc has been waiting to purchase a medium and a small house together because of the way they layed it out it would be awkward if someone else owned the small house since the medium overlooks it ie limsa 26 and 29

Funny you should mention that. We bought Lot 29. And then put up cannons aiming out over the fence. But we're a FC of pirates, a little intimidation is good for the neighborhood.

Back on topic: Not sure if they said you could buy more than one in a zone but I know that I know I heard that being able to purchase in each of the cities was a thing. (And I seem to recall some hints about future cities also having housing wards in which buying could be a thing.) I get not having the "future locations" available yet, but the lockout for what's there is kinda annoying. Or at least it bugged us because the button to purchase wasn't greyed out or anything and we waited around about 20 minutes for the next price drop since it was coming. And got the lol nope you can't buy more. If we can't, the button should be greyed out and not tease about availability.

haha i was talking to one of my leads earlier and told him we needed to line the whole thing with cannons

there is also the same similar area in goblet with a large and a small I guess, but afaik SE only mention about one house/area, they have not say anything about multi house in same area

Bumping this now it's semi-official that personal housing is coming in 2.3 and one of the options will be a room in your FC house.

The joke in my FC was that I bought them a small because I was saving my gil for my own lavish private mansion but if I can actually just buy them a second, medium home and we all live there that sounds like a lot more fun than being in a big private house by myself.

i would not mind the option of purchasing a 2nd or even being able to sell your current home. ATM we will only be able to afford a small house but don the road would be nice to purchase say a medium lot across us, lol

Bought these same plots with two different FCs on my alt characters. It would have bugged me too much not to have the house on the lower level as well.

Okay, given the news that space will be for homeless FCs by clawing back houses from FCs inactive for more than 35 days, rather than by creating more wards, I'm going to guess multiple houses per FC is not going to be happening after all?
