Is the game already over?

Hi to all,

How come there are no more players in endgame content bedsides on Monday or Thuesday when the tomes are restarded? Are people really only doing their weekly coil or CT and quit for the rest of the week?

Even the dungeons and the FATES for lower content are empty. Was I too slow for the beat of this game? I'm stuck at Titan HM in my relic quest for my White Mage like many players so I can't join the Monday players on their coil craziness. Its pretty boring to wait 30 min to 60 min to enter a dungeon. I never met a company that wanted to help. Everytime I get invited in one, we do a dungeon and afterward I get left out because I don't have the final gear or I'm not part of the private group they always make.

Are there other players who got the same impression as I? I feel like the game is already over when in fact its still pretty new. I love this game but I feel like its time to call it quit with a very sad heart.

That is the only time anyone in my static logs on. That is not much of a sample, but it seems pretty common for those doing coil.

I know how you're feeling, I'm almost done at least leveling my Summoner, but I noticed a huge decline since the start of January :(

Hopefully things will kick back up once the new update comes with Leviathan coming along, plus any other goodies thrown at us.

Honestly think it depends on your server. Leviathan is positively hopping at almost all times except early morning EST. Yesterday teleporting to Mor Dhona nearly crashed my game, that's how many people were just standing around there.

Subscription games are having a very rough time attracting continual supplies of new players to populate their low level content. Old players gravitate to the endgame and typically keep the company of the company they're already keeping, not Bob Nobody that joined the guild three days ago.

How might any of this be resolved, do you suppose?

Though everyone saying their FCs or Statics are dying is an incredibly small sample size...it's happening everyday.

There simply just isn't enough to do to keep the game fresh if you have all 50s. Right now, Coil is the only thing really worth doing...and with the right group, that can be done in under 90 minutes.

Adding T6-9 and Levi next patch should hold people over for a month or 2...but then we are just back to where we are now.

I know everyone HATES comparing ARR to any other MMO (god forbid) but I mean in XI circa 2004-2006 you could log on every night and have something to do at max level.

Give me a Dynamis that lasts like 60-90 minutes. Give me force pop NMs. Give me BCNMs that may drop something useful. Sea/Sky/Salvage...etc etc.

OK, I also know that XI didn't have that when it launched but c'mon. XIV was offline for what a year and they were working on stuff before 1.xx went down. Cause if I have to look forward to CT (ready spam part II) as content, I will probably go elsewhere.

I'm on Belias, which was the part of the new group of servers. Coil parties have only started to appear early this year and are on full force in PF all throughout the week with many various other kinds.

There will likely be an influx of new players when the PS4 version comes out.

I don't see this sort of stuff at all on Behemoth. The server seems pretty busy all the time. I regularly see Coil learning groups and Titan HM for relic in the PF at any point during the week. Queue times for dungeons have been more reasonable lately if anything, and I do most of my myth farming later in the week (I actually don't usually log in on Mondays).

Since you are on Leviathan I will throw you an invite to our FC. We have 1 coil group that's on T5 progression, almost filled a second learning group for coil. We regularly help members (ie, carry lol) through Titan HM for relics, actually did 2 last night :D

I'll be on in about 3 hours, you can also search for Hidalgo Zoro or Draven Dakwhil they might be on now. Tell them Whiskey sent ya ;)

There's always people around on my server all days of the week, but on a microscopic level I do see this happening. We just lost a member in our Coil group because he's more interested in playing ESO right now than doing T1-4 once a week and throwing ourselves at T5 until we get it down.
