1.18 - Where's the beef?

This is just a quick concern regarding the recent outline posted about the 1.18 update:

Is auto-attack being downplayed because it's already a set-in-stone part of the update, or are there complications which limit the 1.18 patch to strictly guildleve reforms?

I know that last letter from the producer made mention of auto-attack, but it seems to have wiggled out of the spotlight somehow... which is fine, but I'm just making extra doubly sure that our button mashing to be divided in half by 1.18 :o

Auto attack is coming in 1.18, additional refinements to the algorithms, mechanics, and animations will follow in 1.19 and beyond.

Yoshi also mentioned in the last letter that that will not be the only letter covering 1.18. There will be more letters focusing on different features. That one was only about guildleve reform. Then we will also get the full patch notes on the day of the patch.

Well, that only makes sense. Non-class-specific regionals are always DoW and DoM. If you try to leve-share with someone on a crafting job, you get no SP. This is just extending that limitation to the end SP reward - they don't want you to get any XP on a DoL/DoH class if the quest was combat-oriented.

This. Or at least, so says the fan-translation from the Japanese. 'Course, I'd rather they hadn't said anything about it at all. That way, there'd've been no false alarms. Plus, I'd've been able to make fun of the people who thought this would work. :p

Lol yeah it would've been hilarious on the day of patch 1.18 release to see some DoL and DoH players trying to get SP from battlecraft leves :)

Ohhs... i read it to mean that they'll say something like "for archers and lancers only." Kinda like how you don't get guild marks if you don't use the related class to complete the leve...

Also, fishers are totally awesome at throwing rocks and should always be valued members of any behest >:|
