I hate having Ready Checks constantly popping up before every pull, it's annoying. Sometimes I'll click cancel out of spite when it pops up.
Only time they should be initiated is if someone had to go AFK or your group decides to take a short break, just to make sure everyone's back. There's no need to use it after every battle, just look at your map to see if everyone is in the area.
I click cancel all the time, they still pull anyway.
they should remove option to cancel.. if you not ready jsut don't click on anything
The problem for me is, there are often people select 'No' for ready check in CT, so they are displayed as a 'X'. But since they can't change it to a Yes afterwards, no one knows if they are ready yet. So the party either pulls anyway, or start another Ready Check, which someone also likely to click 'No'.
If people are not ready they should just hold on clicking yes until they are.
I think its funny that people use it and its still useless because people do whatever anyways... I use it for fate parties I do the ready check and if their not ready then they get booted... I have to be present to gain xp so they should have to be as well...

More than 90% are sick of ready check already.
Atomos seems the only place it really seems a good place to use it, so many times i've seen people pull and there are some not even in the room. Since you can't really see the far group well, you can't just judge by who is in the room like other bosses in there.
It's much simpler and less spammy if one person from each party simply says their group is ready (and in parties we just have everyone write / in pt chat when they're ready). I always ignore the ready checks now because I don't want to encourage their use.
1 person shouting ready doesn't mean group is ready.
it's because of you ppl that ignore ready check that makes system useless.
I dont ignore it, I just click no every time.
advice to people, its worked in wow for around 9 years, its gonna be in use of this game til SE pulls the plug on the game, basically, get used to it
I hit no every time because it is a poorly implemented tool with no functions in 4 man content, very little functions in 8 man content, and troll of the century in 24 man content. The main thing I want if they are going to keep it in the game is the name of the person who started it.
Edit: Also remember kids, if you say no, and they do it anyways, that's called rape kids. So pretty much I get raped every time I'm in crystal tower, at least 3-5 times.
Loved the new waypoints, hate the ready check system.
Give us even more of a reason to never type in the chat why don't we.
Ready check is annoying and very poorly implemented. Whenever it pops up I always hit No.
it defaults to no on controller so i always no cause it's very intrusive and i clear it asap.
I always hit No, people ignore the results anyway and it's annoying.
System doesn't work.
We don't need ready checks, we just need more leeroys...
When making a ready check, it doesn't really mater if people vote no. Chances are they are doing it out of spite. The only important thing to look out is that all the boxes fill. Once they are filled, even if you have half the alliance on X dots, just pull. It doesn't matter if its red or green, if it shows up they clicked something and they are not AFK, which is what really ruins runs.
want to know something interesting, ive done CT roughly around 10 or more times in total since the patch came out, ive had no one abuse it ONCE, weve even had whole alliances not even budge till it was confirmed, because the group wanted to be civilised and wanted EVERY ONE ON THE SAME PAGE, ive had more smooth pulls when ready check is used. the only people not being civilised are the children that always press no, since they have some odd crusade against being organised.
