No Instances No Games?

I just realised...
As yesterday incidence, instances server keeps kicking people out (90k error).
And I find that I have nothing to do in game, when I can't get into any Instances.
And I logout after 30mins of trying to get into Dungeon/ Primals.

Is this game really making just for Instances Dungeon/ Primals/ Binding Coil ?

If it does, it's a waste of space... providing their worlds are huge in there, and nothing actually can be done in open world...

There's other things to do in the game. It comes down to whether you want to do them or not.

Did you play XI on asura, Chichi? Were you in Fellowship?

the open world needs some exploration "magic" of the single player open worlds , random ambushes :D

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn definetly need End Game Open World Content to be even better than it is, of course.

People are going to say go:
Craft/gather - What for? Its no economy.
Do treasure maps - What for? They only drop skins and maybe potash. You can kill normal mobs for that.
Do fates - Even though you're level 50.

And if you see no reason to do that stuff, mainly for the reasons listed. They're going to say it's your fault for not wanting to do boring, pointless, useless stuff. :) Enjoy

Open world needs so much. lol

I want notorious monsters we can camp. I want a huge variety of them too. Small weak monster and huge deadly ones. I want these notorious monsters to drop rare (but sellable) gear.
I want to compete with other free companies and even RMT for the drop.

I want caves to explore without a 90 minute time limit and a party of 4 (three of which are complete strangers who don't want to chat).
This is only the tip of the iceberg of what it will take to keep me around.
I too am very bored with doing the same dugeons over and over in an attempt to equip the exact same level 90 armor every other player has.

I love you SE, but we all want a little variety. After all, it's the spice of life.

Another thread asking for open world content and still no answer from SE, i'm with you, this "everything instanced" system is sooooo boring.

In case you don't know, they are adding more dungeons, coils and primals in 2.2, yes, more instanced content...

So in other words, nothing.

The game desperately needs content in the world. Not just instances. It needs good, compelling content. Not something we do just because it's there, but because we're genuinely excited to do it.

Welcome to modern "global standard" MMOs, enjoy your stay. But hey at least you can do all that other content like say killing faceroll trash mobs for hours and get drops that sell for 1 gil on the markets or perhaps just run around and take screencaps of the nice looking albeit somewhat small maps, that's definitely content you're just entitled and don't want to acknowledge it right.

I was in Fellowship on Asura. I played as Kreliana.

i think there could be a few reasons to do fates at Lv 50 maybe make a Chocobos party with 3 others and their Chocobos if it isn't already rank 10? and also can spiritbond stuff but with only fates that have many mobs and not single boss ones.

For couple of mounths i was toled by meany people that im crazzy when i was saing that SE is making FF14 into fully DN grinding game, that thy have no intention to bring Open World content! Just like the OP saied ( Is this game really making just for Instances Dungeon/ Primals/ Binding Coil ? ) All this are DNs ! And the comming patch 2.3 is same old story....more dns, another dn primal, new coil and new set of armor but for it you need stons from DNs....! Basicly will have the same things to do as the things we have now.

This is a MMO where you are supsoed to go on adventure with your friends in the Open World of the game.....dont we all play MMOs for that reason to make adventures in the game Open World with our friends and meet there new people......not to sit in one spot wait to go in a DN !!!! Im in one of the most populated servers and the entire Opwen World is Ghost, empty with no people !

Yes, the open world so huge, that there isn't much I can do to improve my gears... but spirit bonding, chocobo leveling.
That doesn't sound right.

Isn't improving gears is one of the major reason in most RPG games?
We grind, and grind, and grind, for gears upgrade, no?

Yoshi has stated that this is a Theme Park MMO. I don't understand the complaints for lack of sandbox MMO features.

You're right. As soon as ESO is released, I will only play XIV on mondays -if at all.

The worlds what you make of it lots of times i find my self just walking around looking at all the nice spots or finding some good fishing spots

ESO is garbage I uninstalled the Beta after painfully playing it for 2hrs and I was fighting the urge to uninstall it after 30min. ESO should cut the box price in half and go B2P just to save time and avoid the inevitable that it will massively bleed subscribers after the 1st free month and with no new players coming in it will be F2P in 3 months.
