A list of what is unlocked by level anywhere?

Hi, I've tried googling this to no avail. Is there a list anywhere that says what unlocks at what levels?

I know the following:
Level 10:Can start another job
Level 15:Can use airships after a quest
Level 20:Mounts
Any crafting skill to level 10:Unlock Quick Synth.
Level 30:Unlock the tier 2 jobs.

There was something at level 5, I think maybe cross skill stuff? Anyway, is there a list out there anywhere that any of you are aware of? And I'm talking general things here that applies to all classes. I found plenty of websites for what level the abilties are (plus they are in the game except for the quested abilities).

Really, it's not so much level that unlocks things, as more progression in the main storyline/class quests that unlocks content as you go. The only thing really level based that is unlocked upon attaining that level is rental chocobos and the chocoporter become useable upon gaining level 10. Also when your reach level 30 you get a Job upgrade for your class, and even that requires you to complete all your class quests from that class's guild first before the Job quest can be undertaken.

So yeah, it's not really level that you have to worry about for content, but making sure you're to date in the storyline and the quests given by your class's guild.

Cross skill stuff happens at level 10 when you get access to the Armoury system (same thing as starting another job)

Level (5-15) - Unlocks levequests (I can't recall when exactly this happens)
Level 10 - Unlocks guildhests
Level 10 - Unlocks Inn rooms.
Level 10 - Unlocks retainers.
Level 10 - Unlocks housing areas.
Level 15 - Unlocks hairdresser.
Level 19 - DoW/DoM unlocks being able to create materia.
Level 19 - DoH unlocks being able to meld materia.
Level 25 - DoH Unlocks being able to over-meld materia.

Level 9 story quest unlocks leves and inn room. Then you can unlock guildhests.

There's also a point before which you can't get good conditions on a synth. I don't think it was 10 but was something like 12? idk

Guildhests are unlocked with a level 10 quest called "Simply the Hest (Starting City)."

You are correct about the level 9 story quest being the one that unlocks the inn room. Every character I've done it with has always been level 10 by then, so I forgot to double check the actual level of the quest to unlock it.

I went back to find the level of the quest to unlock levequests and it is level 10. In Gridania it is called, "Leves of Bentbranch." Despite the levequest NPC in town having level 1 and level 5 levequests, I remember them not being accessible until you completed this quest. I.e. the level 9 story quest reward just allows you to access that quest, which must then be done in order to actually do a levequest. You can probably do the quest at level 9, which involves doing a unique levequest, but you can't turn it in to unlock the rest until level 10. That may have changed.

Well, that could be a "lenient" lvl 10 quest...some quests are hard-coded to require the level # they state to turn them in, others you can turn in before (not sure by how much).

I have never seen this for any quest.

Story quests are like this actually - the quest is often available to start one to two levels lower than the actual level requirement, but cannot be completed until you have actually reached that level (the quest will have a red 'locked out' symbol over the NPC even if the Duty List shows objectives completed and that you can turn it in.). It's caught me off guard quite a few times during the storyline, to the point now I take note of the actual level requirement for the quest and if it's higher than my current level I hold off accepting the quest until I reach that level.

I know this. I meant I have never seen a quest, main, side, or otherwise that lets you turn it in before the level of the quest despite being able to get it earlier. I.e. what he calls 'lenient.'

No I'm specifically referring to turning them in, not the lower requirement to start them. I'd have made a list if I thought it wasn't common knowledge.

That is specifically what I am referring to as well. I will repeat that I have never seen a quest that lets you turn it in before the level of the quest despite being able to get it earlier.

Long as you're not saying it's not out there cause you've never seen it that's ok. I have seen it. Could probably still reproduce it on my alt, will do if I come across one of them.

Level 15 lets do you unlock gear dyeing.

With my fisher in my first character happened. I could accept quests level 25-29... But My arcanist was 22... Yet I managed to fullfill one quest somehow and when trying to obtain the reward it said "You need a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic level 29" or something like that, so fisher couldn't because being fisher, (but could accept it). And Arcanist couldn't because of level.

Level 16: low level duty roulette
Level 45: feet, legs, head, and hands AF
Level 50: body AF
Level 50: High level duty roulette
Level 50: Main story duty roulette
Level 50: HM primals, Relic Reborn quest, Crystal Tower
Level 50 (after beating HM primals): Coil of Bahamut
Level 50 (after beating HM primals): EX primals

That's level 17.

Most things are unlocked by quests, but they're not always in the main storyline or class quests. Dye, materia (making, melding, and over-melding), and chocobos (both as mounts and combat companions) are unlocked by sidequests.
