Rain Rain Go Away

Is it just me or does it feel like its practically ALWAYS raining in Eorzea???

No. Played for about two hours; didn't see rain once.

They need to show off their wet effects somehow!

Rainy weather has been increased by 20% until 2.2 to showcase the wet effect.

If you go to Grid it rains mostly there because it's a rain forest area -type place. AHAHA. No but seriously they have a fishing quest in grid depending on rain. Let it rain because that's where the moneys at.

It keeps raining and raining and raining, but when I did this quest I had to wait for forever for it to rain >.<

I did notice too, and then I remembered the next Primal to come. Has to be related.

Gridania and La Noscea have a lot of rain, less rain in Thanalan imo.

I think it looks awesome :D, can't wait for the rest of the rain effects to be implemented.

We need to start an environmental movement to exterminate the raincallers.

They are ruining Eorzea's delicate climate.

there were a time during 1.0 where it rained a lot in thanalan. And during the rain, the bgm went out. And once the rain stopped, the bgm was back. Somehow creepy it was.

But yes, Thanalan need less rain and more sandstorms. Heavy sandstorm were you can only see 10 meter wide.

I don't see rain a ton, honestly. Sure, it occasionally sprinkles in La Noscea, and maybe a downpour or two in the Shroud.

Hold on, gotta get my raincoat out again, need to go mine more Alumen...

Try doing the fishing class quests, suddenly you won't see rain in Gridania for at least a week :P .

Needs more (Hopelesness).

That place should be a pool with how it is a hole in the ground and raining all the time.

All I know for sure is when I need rain for certain fish, prolonged droughts ensue.

Not at all. One of the reasons I LOVE this game is because of the rain and weather in general.

No. I needed rain in Raincatcher Gully to get Thunderstorm Sculpin in my fishing log. Started to wait in the evening of Saturday and didn't get it to rain until Sunday in the afternoon (without doing anything else. If it rained, it happened while I was asleep). I want weather forecast in-game so bad.

This would be great.

Personally I'd like to see more weather effects. Those could be done with current assets like light drizzle and foggy rain an light and heavy fog. Windy fog would be cool too.

Only in Camp Drybone, ironically. Every time I go there, a storm suddenly picks up.

So this NPC will tell us when the Odin weather will come?

I'm probably crazy, but I swear crafting in the rain lowers your chance of hitting anything under 100%. When ever it rains and I'm crafting in Ul'Dah, I leave the market area and go hang out by the Weaver's guild cause it has a roof!

Getting a crack at Odin would be an even more hopeless endeavor (since at least on Hyperion, both he and Behemoth die way too quickly for anyone to get credit, sometimes even if you were there from the very beginning).

If you know what follows, you'll know why this has relevance. And why it's funny.
