Error 6001

I get this error when i'm trying to log in.

i was just booted from the game,

Me too, just got thrown off the server and now i cannot even get into the character login screen.

nice, emergency maint now and then regular tonight. Glad I work all weekend ; ;

I am getting this now as well lobby connection error 5006

Was in HM Copperbell mines. Killed last boss, then booted from the game. Everytime I try to log in get error 6001. Wish we could at least play until the maintenance tonight.:(

Was doing low level roulette in Tam Tara when everyone got hit by the lag then disconnected. Tried logging in again and was hit with 6001. Wonder what the cause of this was?

Same. It gets as far as the character selection, but instead of the character names coming up, it errors out. "The lobby server connection has encountered an error." Error 6001.

Oh good, first day playing, was hoping it wasn't my issue.

Was in Brayflox Longstop just after the first boss, 2 others in the party and myself started getting some weird lag & showed DC signs. We stabilized a couple times and were going to attempt to continue, but game crashed. Reopening the client and attempting to log back in results in lobby error 6001, which closes out the game completely.

its bad enough the game will be closing early tonight and i cant play but now i cant even play during the day? How about you fix your game before you add more mess to it? error 6001 now amongst all the other lag and errors codes we have experienced...

Does it seem to be just a few servers? It looks like things are comming back online now, I'm able to get in but it's having some harsh latency.

Got this too, giving up playing today. Was in an awesome CT group too.

I was hoping to play before I leave for work at 330 pm est. I went and attempted to switch my alt on another us data center and I gotten 6001

Same from Moogle lag crash 90k then 5006 error when trying to log back in.

Right in the middle of Garuda EXT :( . I can see my character list but I'm getting error 6001 when I try to enter and then client shuts down.

This doesn't happen often. In fact, this is the first time for me in 4 months.

Well, since everyones crashing, perhaps if we all give it about 5 - 10 minutes before attempting to log in it might come back on it's own. With all of the people who were just booted the Data servers are probably getting overloaded with logins right now which isn't helping :s

Error 5006 & 6001 here, middle of 1000 maw dungeon too, fun group, doing low lvl roulette. @.@ *shakes fist @ error gods* Thal's balls can ya FIX something instead of making it worse?? x.x

Having issue on Cactuar, but was in Cutter's Cry. Warrior kept having lag issues, pulled first boss, 0 send/receive. 90002 error when booted. Getting 6001 and 3102 errors. It's beta4/release all over again for me.

Gotta say, since the last few maintenances, I've been getting 90k/90002/5006/6001 disconnection errors like I'd not since beta/EA. Wonder if it's an influx of new players or if SE just really "maintained" something exceptionally well in the background...

Bob tripped over a cord again, hang on while he takes 5 hours to plug it back in.

I am also on leviathan and got booted, geting 6001 on login attemps. If you manage to get back in let me know:)

I got disconnected also, and when trying to log on. I get kicked out.

I had to queue for a dungeon since my hubby needed a healer. I got in a different one who also needed a healer. Everything's lagging now. Players are like rubber banding and popping here and there like a ninja.

Watched my entire CT party get really confused over lag issues because seeing over half the people get the red circle of sadness above their head before DCing. Got a 6001 Lobby error, but was able to log back in briefly before getting kicked again. ;C

I have yet to get in. I get lucky sometimes and make it to the character select, but once I select my character and choose to log in, I will get a 5006. But, 90% of the time, I am getting 6001s.

Servers are definitely up, just something wrong connecting to DC or directly to Character servers through... it's like a reverse 90000/90002.

Hyperion here. I was in the middle of The Thousand Maws of Toto-rak doing my low level duty roulette when I first got 90k. Tried logging back in several times and I get either 5006 or 6001.

It felt like I was lagging and rubber banding before I got hit with the 90k though. Been hoping to find any info from SE on this, but none so far.
