Titan XM - Forming Daily Raid Party

We are looking to setup a static Titan XM raid/party on our server.

When: Monday - Friday (February 17 - 21)
Time: 9pm PST / 10pm MST / 12am EST
iLevel: 80+

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to group with mostly the same pool of people, so we can learn and progress as a team and eventually down Titan XM with some teamwork. Eventually, we'd like to get to the point where we can farm Titan XM.


EXPECTATIONS

Let get this out of the way—we will fail. We will probably fail a lot in the beginning. So don’t expect to down Titan XM on day one. We will learn and progress as a team.


THE RAID

If we notice that a player is needlessly dying repeatedly due to network lag or fight-mechanic issue, we will replace you. You can always join us another day.

We will use Ventrilo during the raid. So please have a working headset and microphone. Watch YouTube videos before coming to the raid.

is this going to be a linkshell type of thing to join up, or..? I'd be interested. all I get is the typical DF, wipe twice everybody leaves. got one group once that we practiced in it for an hour. ended consistently getting to the add phase, past it once or twice, but good experience

I talked to Arumok last night, my FC is with the Shenigans, hit me up Sin!

Yes, we have a "Titan Extreme" Linkshell setup so we can group with the same pool of people dedicated and motivated to downing Titan XM.

I didn't have much luck PUGing this in the Zalera server using Party Finder. So I transferred over to the Exodus server and within 24 hours of being in that server I found a group of folks in Party Finder and we downed Titan XM after only 2 attempts! A flawless (deathless) victory. Not bad for a bunch of folks who have never played before. We were not on vent or team speak. In fact, I was on the phone the entire fight talking to my friend.

So if you guys are having a hard time downing Titan XM I would recommend looking at other more populated servers. The Party Finder in Exodus, for example, is so busy sometimes that you'd have to scroll down to see the full list! Lots of people to play with and its much easier to setup groups/PUG things. Lots of highly skilled and well geared players. You'll even see t4 and t5 being listed in Party Finder.

I downed Ifrit XM as well and got my first primal weapon. :-)

i dont think you know what that word means.

Not sure based on stats that Exodus is all that more popular than Zalera. I think you got lucky and found a good party. Kind of sucks to hear you try and sway people to transfer based on end game content.:confused:

Sorry my first post was just me being salty, let me congratulate you.

Congrats on paying 18 dollars(or whatever the price for xfering is) to clear an easy fight. Please come back to zalera forums periodically to advertise about your amazing new server.

P.S. Is it ironic yet that you xfered to clear Titan/End Game and said this in your first post?

I thought this game was about the social aspect, not getting all your Item level 90 gear by server hopping then proceeding to just stand in Mor Dhona with no FC tag. It defeats the purpose of the game. Maybe you guys are just Guild Wars/WoW people and not even entirely into Final Fantasy. Only MMO I played was FFXI and still I choose to play with friends and family even if they are noobs/idiots. It makes it that much more gratifying when I clear something with them. :cool:

Sin I used to think you were Canadian, you were helpful to me when those assholes in Dragon Lyre were putting up a front. But this right here is uncalled for. Especially when anyone that has played FFXI knows that server merging based on population can totally destroy a community. I don't have a problem with you transferring as much as I do with you coming back to the bottom of the forums list to persuade people, instead you should of just said,

"Hey guys my mission statement was just a bunch of bullshit, couldn't do it had to transfer, peace."

No one will ever admit to that statement. People will server transfer with the excuses "Bad FCs, bad players, bad etc..." yet these were the same people failing at said fights they were stuck. Now there are some exceptions, people that are stuck in binds with casual/social FCs, but as being a good player comes with the gift of "common sense", they realize this and instead of quitting on their FC/Server, continue to try with that group of said FC members/friends.

Good thing I never knew Sin, because the players that I knew who server swapped, I have only means things to say about them.
