The wouldn't work as they are right now because it would be practically impossible to win unless you were really lucky, there are many moves that could wipe a party, Consecutive Wicked Wheels, Gaols, Titan's adds, Ifrit's Searing Wind going to a DPS cause the healers already have it, etc. It would be a mess.

Just add animation locks <--- like those in 1.0. We can call it a day.

Why do players think random = harder? They could tone down the cheap mechanics and adjust it to be the same just without having memorize so many phases and rotations.
Yeah I'm in favour of the idea with certain caveats in place, however truth be told I'm am deeply fatigued of seeing primal fights, let alone the same three primals as the only source of content development. Seriously sick of being forced to look up Titan's scrap of a loincloth while tanking. Bring on something new, menacing and divergent from the same old kill primalX only for the beastmen to re-summon at their earliest convenience. I kind of almost wish the imperials plan to permanently rid the world of the primals was a little more 'permanent' and a little less 'megalomaniac "Now they are mine to summon as I please!"' so we could move on from it already.
Garuda Unchained: Spiny wipes the raid at 2 stacks, sisters now spawn their own razor plumes, tornados everywhere except 3 and 6 o'clock, melees die instantly if they get caught in a tornado.
Titan Unchained: Landslide now rotates instead of being set when he casts it. Superbombs every cycle. Gaols 1 healer, 2 dps now. Potato pools bigger.
Ifrit Unchained: Infernal Howl targets off-tank, but is shorter duration. Now breathes at DPS to discourage stacking for Eruption. Now summons Ifrit-egi that drops 1 plume where he's standing every 5 seconds.
Come on SE, let's have more of the same!
They are adding new primals. Which is good. Keeping it just ruda, titan, and ifrit gets rather boring. Maybe they will create a new level of difficulty with the new primals to see. I'm excited to see Shiva in our future. Hopefully the server delay issues for people are sorted out by then.
Titan would be all but impossible to win if his rotation was random, if just because his attacks are so unforgiving to the unprepared. He's predictable because one false move will wipe the group; if he was no longer predictable, your ability to win is no longer in your control, but in the hands of the RNG, which is notoriously cruel.

I'd just rather we had new Primals instead of a fourth difficulty setting added to the existing ones.
Ever been to turn 5? If you have I'm sure you've seen the "Omg RNG" spam in party chat when the tank randomly dies every now and then to 10-14k DMG instantly....
Because occasionally twintania will death sentence at the same time she pummels and immediately follow with an auto attack with no delays....
RNG is bad.
Sure Randomness in such a way that you don't know which attack is coming next is ok. But if RNG means it's possible for shit to come at the same time with no delays and no possible way whatsoever to avoid it, then F.... That.....

All of you asking for RNG based fights would be right back here on the forums complaining about how they are "TOO random" and will call for a nerf of the "randomness" turning them back into essentially what they are now. Mark my words friends.
My question is, are you ready to see both of your tank taking max stack in ifrit ex and eat a big nail to the face? And possibly more!
Non stop tumults, non stop eruptions, unending mountain busters/wicked wheels/incinerates. Oh the fun!
A full RNG would not work for reasons people already stated. However, there are certain restrictions SE could put in place to make sure deadly combinations never go together. For example, if wicked wheel happens, it could be put on a separate timer and could *NEVER* happen again for at least x amount of seconds. Then after, that, it is put back in the 'possible random rotation' once more. One way randomness would make the fights more reactive and less scripted would be to have Ifrit use eruptions at whim... not just immediately after he throws searing wind on someone. Plumes could come at random... not just when he lands after Inferno-ing... dashes could start in any area of the map (just like they did in 1.0), but always make him go clockwise so that people can know how to dodge them without an element of surprise. There ARE ways to make the fights more random without making them impossible... but yes, with the current lag, and people needing to *prepare* for everything... fights with more randomness would cause a looooooot of raging, something SE won't want.

Random does not mean it will spam same moves back to back or does three high damaging TP moves back to back. Even those random will have a set of rules the have to follow.
A skill will have cool down but it will not use it right when the cool down is up, meaning it will have a chance to use it but not absolute.
Random fights like this should have small "charge" animation or some indications.
Rather than asking for this... Shouldn't you be asking for what happened to the idea of FC Summonable Primals?
Can't recall too much about what was said about the idea previously other than I believe they were supposed to be able to captured(?) somehow by an FC which would then have exclusive rights to summon and fight that primal within a time limit... And from the sound of it, it wouldn't be simple 8man like todays Trials...
I recall Yoshi saying on a live letter that Extremes are the intentional last/hardest iteration a primal will be on. You'd be better off trying to suggest how the new Primal extreme mechanics go about (i.e. Leviathan, Shiva, Ramuh, Fenrir)
Randomness is a good thing, with certain patterns but not rotations, the reason it wouldn't work here is all the 1shot mechanics SE uses to save hours of balancing work.
Coherent randomness = fun/hard. Rotations = Boring/Easy(after the first win)
Unchained primals would be fun tho, impossible but fun. lol
The only reason those three fights even function right now is because they're pattern battles and predictable. If you make them totaly random, the way the netcode in this game works means you're doomed to failure. You'll have -NO- idea until you were killed by it. So good luck with this.
I don't want harder version. Rather they might bring something new than remake of previous bosses.
Heck, I didn't even find party for titan extreme yet, because of lack people that re interested in this.
