Idea for addition to this game

Don't have to be exact but I expect him and you people to get a idea of what I'm trying to suggest.

Make new addition called "mark hunts" just like in FF12 expect it can be daily quest. Once or twice hunts a day. After certain numbers of mark hunts completed, you are given a new mark, an elite mark hunt. (Once after every certain numbers of mark hunts)

Original mark hunts require 4 man party. Elite mark hunts require 8 man party. It should be fun right?

Every complete elite mark hunt, gains you a rank every time. New rank becomes hard and harder every rank.

Say after 5th or 10th elite mark hunts, you get to fight most powerful enemy such as hell wyrm, Yiazmat, Behemoth King (FF12 style), and etc like that. Requires 8 man party which have to complete elite marks to get this quest. Make a dungeon only for them like Colosseum.

Reward should be like 100K Gil, rare items, unique vanity gears or wyrm mounts without charge like beastmen quests did.

Thoughts?

14 arr is my first MMO.

I would love to see marks too. Like creating a lot of monsters that only spawn on certain places/weathers/days of the week and create a hunting board where you can select the weekly or daily available hunt. As you get those marks, you can improve your hunter's ranking and gain access to more dangerous monsters (single/4-man/8-man)<Right as you say>. Suggestion: They can appear as "locked" monsters, like the ones you get from leves. To avoid map congestions, every player can get a "random hunt" given by a list of monsters available with his/her current hunter level. Just like treasure hunting works, but with monsters.

"Burning Circle Notorious Monster". Pretty much a battle you could enter with seals (drops) you got from common monsters in the game. They usually dropped really nice items to sell or use.

i like the idea. BCNM was "instanced" fight tho.

I rather have these Elite Marks roam the world... best part is not everyone will have the same elite mark, it will vary for players.

That could probably implemented through the Levequests, just make unlockables for which you need to farm some easier ones up to a big boss with decent drops

I would love that. A real thing to do and keep peole busy everyday.

some ideas to add :

=> Don't tell where the hunted monster is located. Instead, make it like ffXII, where you had to go to a npc which would give you some tips on locations.
=> make it a daily thing, ie you can only apply to a hunt once a day, and if you did not manage to find the target, you lose the reward.
=> some cash and vanity rewards are really good. Maybe we could access to a special shop for said vanity which would unlock new ranks based on our "notoriety"

It could be fun - and if the "hunt" monsters roam freely and are aggressive, might add a little bit of much-needed danger to wandering around in the wild. Give them a long leash and a greater chance of Weight, so they can be properly terrifying! :3

I would suggest, though, that such monsters be given a significant defense boost if you're not currently assigned to hunt them, so that wandering parties don't kill them for the lulz and spoil the hunt for folks who are actually hunting.

So they should be made to aggro others to make it more 'terrifying' while at the time those that get aggroed can't fight back meaningfully and the 'long leash' means they can't escape.
