The upside of Odin ALWAYS crashing the server....

He spawns in all shrouds. Go check your server forums and see if a Odin/Behemoth Linkshell has slots free.

Bah! That just makes trying to find him so much harder! I assumed he'd spawn in the high level areas to avoid killing inocent n00bs and lv15s lol.

it's to the point i don't even go there anymore. it's just death and server crash everytime he comes up.

I've only been to the Odin FATE twice, I just assumed it was some form of blob.

Odin didn't crash the server on excalibur today as far as I know. Unless he did it before I got there.

Side note! Today he had my name/form/appereance >:3

I've yet to see Odin. He's usually downed as soon as he pops. Behemoth, on the other hand, I've seen twice. I even got a couple of whacks on him before the DF I was waiting an hour for popped!

I'm just still trying to lock down the magic secret to getting gold on him... I have 3 mantles to show for about 7 fights vs him... I've seen multiple people with helm/chest/sword+barding >.>

Maybe there's something wrong with your server. >.> As far as I know Goblin has never crashed from Odin and I have 16 mantles in my inventory...

you took that pic today? I was in that Encounter, the server didnt crash lol

the only real difference is excalibur is a much more full server. when they opened up the servers for more people the last time there were only 2 servers that have stayed locked. excalibur is one of them.

Couple people in my Odin/Behe LS got gold on him a few times. The secret is to have a balanced pt, have the "main tank" and the healer healing him in your pt, and to get the claim or be there from 95% health onwards. It also helps if no one announces "hey, odin is up" so you can down him with less people, but thats kind of shady.

Balmung is a very full server and the last few times I fought him the server didn't crash at all. Last I checked Balmung was one of the more populated servers.

Nice screenshot by the way! I have never seen odin up close without a horde of players in tow, except in that one trailer ^^;
