Question about solo heal HM/EM

so sometimes i saw healer said can solo heal for HM/EM
my question is..
is it solo heal when all ur DPS/Tank is great
or
solo heal when all ur DPS/tank really bad
eg: eat damage/suck on dodge/dont know use their buff

I cant comment on on EM, only HM I have solo healed.....but the key point you omit....you only do this if your Healer is good! lol ! :)

Seriously though, with a bit of practice, HM Ifrit and Guarda can be reasonably easy solo'd for a quick result - i.e. DPS/Tank is good and know the fight. We do it a lot in our FC to help memebers get reilcs
Titan HM is a harder, and you absolutely need strong DPS (and ergo Tank to hold it), because you can't let the fight last too long as a solo WHM - SCH less an issue (purely from MP persepctive)

From personal exp from S.healing EM garuda parts of titan, and all of the HMs, you need decent dps to avoid unnecessary damage as you dont have the GCDs spare to heal that, but otherwise as long as you can deal out the heals required for the tank and the sporadic AOEs at times thats it.
I have done this on my WHM and SCH, imo solo healing Garuda and Ifrit was alot easier on my SCH, but titan was possible, but alot! easier on WHM,

To be honest solo healing garuda ex can be doable, but I don't see how you can solo heal Titan EX or Ifrit EX due to the mechanics of the fight for the healers :)

so in PT Finder, if they said solo heal, must make sure DPS and Tank know they job right?

garuda ex easier if solo healed since you kill her faster. titan ex is a bit more complex but is not hard, like garuda will melt, also done with 1 tank and 1 heal and we killed him without dealing with the superbomb. But yes everyone has to be good and in sync.

Ifrit mechanic I can imagine is dealt with by having the healer stand on the left, DPS runs down the right with eruptions.
You can still heal tanks when howled, the range of the AOE is big, but not longer than heal range.

Titan there is no unscripted AOE damage, when I was solo healing it I switch EOS in then had her continuously turret the tanks with my macro while I threw a lustrate to bring HP back up, and on timults Fey Ilu Succor rotated with WD. With mitigation the EF does 1.8 or with my parties, which is 3 succors. One When he jumps, one swift casted while running, other during plumes

I solo heal Titan ex all the time. If the dps can dodge, it's a one shot. If they don't and I have to heal them on top of scripted aoe damage, it's 50/50. Solo healing Garuda ex is super easy since with the extra dps you never risk the tank eating a double wicked (which he shouldn't anyways if he's a good tank).

titan and garuda ex for sure is possible but i am rly curious if someone did ifrit ex. i cant rly imagine :> and yes a healer can be as good as he want... if the party sucks then its still impossible

Garuda and Titan Ex are very doable solo healing. As far as Ifrit goes I'd like to see someone give it a serious go, but considering how much MP I burn through during that final nail phase it's going to be very hard going.

Yeah I figured it would be more realistic to pull off with all ranged dps. Made it look fairly easy actually, good job.

Ifrit is really the challange to solo heal.
ifrit attacks are wayy to random, nail phase there is a lot of raid and specially tanks dmg going on and not to mention you have to be perfect on searing to not kill the dps. but i really want to do it haha
garuda and titan are scripted, way to easy.

Nothing about Ifrit is random. I'm not sure what you think is.

Searing Wind will always hit a healer and alternate between the two (if there is one, it will always stay on the one).
Searing Wind always comes out on an exact time, except for the nail phase, in which case it starts after the first Incinerate in the nail phase, and then continues on the normal timer/rotation.
Eruptions outside of nail phase will always target DPS.
Eruptions inside of nail phase will always target the OT.
Vulcan Burst comes at specific times.
Incinerate comes at specific times.

So on and so forth. It's an entirely scripted fight, like the other two.

tank dmg is random, you cant time proprelly, you cant control the dps, so if they burn nails too fast combined with ifrit dmg on tanks its a lot of dmg, but sure, this is scripted haha
plus, most ppl dont do primals with the same group every time, try to coordinate pug dps -.-
mechanic wise, yes, ifrit is a joke, but without a good group, tanks can take shit tons of dmg
