For the last 4 days I've been trying to find a CT party via PF. I saw 2 parties in the last 4 days (they already had 4 dps). I tried queing and was waiting for 90 minutes! I even had "join in progress" checked. Tried making my own party on PF and only 1 person usually joins.
Why is it so dead? Anyone know? :0

Some people only care about 1 class. CT has been out long enough for them to have every piece they could want from there.
CT is not a good way to cap myth, so people interested in only that are going to avoid it.
That's only 2 things that have a major impact on the CT running population.
Level a tank if you want to get in easily. -

Generally people seem to spam it like crazy early in the week. On monday and tuesday I was getting into Duty Finder CTs in around 10 mins apiece, as a DPS

Monday and Tuesday, on Ultros even, I had average wait times of 8-11 minutes, and I capped my myth just on CT runs. However, there was usually only 1 or 2 PF parties every couple of hours. There might be a problem with too many DPS trying to do CT at one time, which would account for your delays. The PF parties that I joined usually were already full up on DPS, and we usually ended up waiting longer on tanks than I would have taken queuing on my own.

Idk but every time I join a PF or create one, it takes a hour or two to get going. Because people constantly, "need to go help FC". It seems like PF is almost useless for this, because like 90% of the time the pt always DF anyway. I'm just confused why people even use PF for it anymore. If everyone just wants to DF, just go do that. I know most people try to do a PF so they can funnel the right kind of players in so they have a good shot at their gear and everything..

On a more serious note.. this is what happens when you have loot lockouts. Aside from spiritbonding and tomes that will become obsolete (to a degree) in march there is no reason to run this raid (lol) more times than it takes to get your piece of gear. Not only that but the dungeon is extremely easy and not very gratifying because there is no challenge, in my opinion. That said, as the week goes on past Monday there will gradually be less and less people doing CT due to lack of incentive. Additionally, when Coil 1-5 gets nerfed and becomes available in DF, and if the loot lockout is removed like they hinted it would be, then you can pretty much expect people to stop running CT all together.

Not to mention, without the lockout you would not win every greed roll and there would also be a lot less opportunities for greed rolls unless you run exclusively with your FC which a lot of people don't do. -

I think it depends on your job as well. Even if I randomly decide to run one on Sunday, I still get in via DF within minutes if I run it on War.

Why bother w/ i80 gear at all when you can gear up to full i90 in one day with coil 1-5? lol. Also, the amount of Tomes earned / time spent ratio is pretty bad especially when it involves dealing with retarded people. CT isnt a viable option for a quick Myth capping.
In a single CT run time ( if nothing goes wrong ), you would have done 4 or 5 WP speedruns which would give you 500 ToP / 150 ToM vs 200 ToP / 50 ToM from CT.
