Cosmic Wheel <<Astra>> recruiting all shapes and sizes!

We are most active from 7PM - 2AM Eastern time.

Named after a song from FFXI, Cosmic Wheel was formed on 10/11/13 and we've stayed active ever since. We are one of the oldest companies on the server. We pride ourselves in being polite, competent, and our refusal to exploit the game using 3rd party programs.

Our Philosophy
1. Enjoy ourselves. If we're not having fun, why play? We're not here to clear content the moment it is released or to play 24/7. We are made up of people with lives, jobs, children, marriages and more. We are friends who enjoy playing together.
2. Help one another. This is the foundation of a great free company, and is the foundation of Cosmic Wheel.
3. Be an example. So that outsiders look up to us. In both personality and ability.
4. Love and laughter. We're in this together. And laughter is one of the most important things in the world!
5. Tranquility. One of my personal favorite characteristics of our FC - we're 100% grade A drama free.
6. No cheating, botting, or 3rd party programs. It has come to my attention that many of the players who clear end-game content are doing so with the use of programs that make raiding much much easier. There is now a "Deadly Boss Mods" (from World of Warcraft) version for FFXIV amongst other programs as well. We will never condone the use of such programs and it's depressing to see players dampening the integrity of the game by using them. Nor do we condone any automated farming, gathering, crafting or spiritbonding using 3rd party programs.

We also do not share the gaming community's obsession with watching videos of content in order to make it easier to progress though. We see no reason to make content too easy, or to progress through it so quickly.

We gladly accept anyone who feels that they are a polite and competent player regardless of level. FFXIV is one of my favorite games ever, and I'm looking for people who love it just as well. The #1 goal in Cosmic Wheel is to enjoy yourself. We aren't after any server firsts or worried about beating or progressing through content as quickly possible. We're here to have fun with some awesome people.

All the members of Cosmic Wheel are incredibly nice and helpful. Officers make it a point to offer help to new members and non-officers are quick to help each other achieve in-game goals. Anyone that has been looking for a group to get the most out of FFXIV should really check out this FC. =D

Cosmic Wheel is fun group of individuals who find enjoyment in all aspects of Eorzea. Continually striving to help out other FC members they want each person to achieve the most out of their experience. They are courteous and respectful and have lots of fun! It is a very active FC, and we welcome players of any status or level.

Would love to join, pretty new player to mmo's but im in love with this game. lol my work schedule doesn't allow me to play all that much, but I get on every chance I can. only off 2 days a week. getting close to my first 50. End game content is all new to me so help would be nice

I can't wait to start officially play this game when it is released for PS4 in a month! Is there a minimum level needed to join Cosmic Wheel? I know I will be hooked on this game when it releases (beta really got me going) and I really like the fact that you pride yourself on having 0 drama. I plan on being on your server as I have a RL friend that used to and hopefully will again play on your server.

A really great and helpful FC. They are very nice and friendly and can help as much as they can. You should really join the FC if you are new and are in need for some help. We also do some daily dungeon travels to help with the lower level people. ^^

Do you have static raid groups? Do coil and ex primals? Or more casual? Do you use VOIP?

Yes to all of the above. We are casual and we use Mumble.

I have to say this is probably the best recruitment thread I've ever read. I would love to join, if you would have me :)

I just want to say that this is one of the best FC/Guilds I have been in in a long time.
After leaving FFXI I took a break, but did get in and out of WOW a few times, and when playing trying to find a guild was one of the worst parts. Either the guild would close, or the people would be confrontational all the time and pick fights. Or worse, elistist.
I have seen none of this here. No drama, been active with at least a handful of people on most of the time (it's a bit lonely if you happen to be up at 4 am, but even then there might be 1 or 2 on).
We are just here having fun and poking fun at each other here and there. Bring a good attitude and you will get help with what you need (as long as we can do it, otherwise we help each other), good jokes and good friends.

Just letting people know, I had temporarily halted recruitment since we had received a decent amount of new recruits... We like to have time to get to know our new members. Anyway, recruitment is back on. :)

I've noticed a lot of new players and returning players lately, so wanted to give a little bump :)

Bunch of helpful guys. No problem working around our strange schedule (new baby) to help us with story based instances.

+1 to Promyvion and the work he puts into the Free Company. It doesn't go un-noticed.

We've had a lot of returning players lately both new and old to the FC. Welcome back to all of them. :) We've also been getting said players through the older content that they never finished, like Turn 5 and Extreme Primals. It's been a lot of fun!

Hey there - I'm looking for a FC. I'm around ilvl 85, just doing roulettes and beginner raids to try to gear up to start the first coil. Do you have people who are around my level doing similar stuff?

Yep, we do. Some of the folks who've reactivated their accounts lately haven't played since the i90 days. I'll look for you in-game.

Rewrote the original post. I'm eager to meet those who are returning to the game after a long hiatus and are looking for a friendly helpful competent free company to get prepared for Heavensward!

Welp folks, it's finally here. We are all stoked for Heavensward and can't wait till the servers come up! We are working on getting a 3rd raid group set up - however 3.0 raiding will not be added to the game for nearly a month after launch, so we're waiting a while to start the 3rd group. Members may decide to play a different class/role in Heavensward and so we're going to give time for things to settle down, and then possibly rearrange our groups.

Remember to take it slow, enjoy the scenery, the lore, the music, and all the fun that 3.0 has to offer! See you all in Ishgard!

We've slowed down recruitment a lot since we've attained many members over the past few months.
