Don't know where it is but it seems like some sort of purgatory or abyss. I have hence forth and forthwith deemed this place The Deep Dark Box Abyss. Fun!

I ported out of an instance. It says I am in my FC house............... but clearly that is not a house...... or is it? dun dun DUN!

Though it's not impervious to RMT tells....

It's the secret Skyblock dungeon! Look for a coffer containing some very essential items. Ah but I see there's no tree. Your skyblock must be bugged.

Just a theory but perhaps they have already put some of the coding for the housing basement into the game and were planning to build more to it all along. You just so happened to bug into said instance that isn't actually completed or accessible by normal means.

But I am in the, would be, attic.

You're on top of the "inside FC house" zone. Since the outside of the house is a separate zone, there's no need to model the outside while you're inside it. The other part to this glitch is that sometimes, when going in and out of the Duty Finder, your y-coordinate is not saved properly. Particularly if you were standing on top of a desk/table upon going into a duty, I've found that the game will sometimes place you above where you left when you're returning to where you came from.

Of course and guess what I found. There too remain invisible walls. They put invisible walls in an area where you're not supposed to be. I guess that's good though because who knows how long I'd be falling unable to return!

Maybe it's a test zone that you bugged into?
