Someone tried to bully me out of a CT group.

Helping a friend gear up and such. Due to my gear, another DRK in the group kept insulting me and such since he assumed I ran it to ninja gear(his reason and yes he said that). Told him/her that I ran CT for a friend, but still continue to bully me. Finally he just spammed me to the point where I had to blacklist.

Lord and behold, after the CT finished. A level 1 guy spammed me, then another one after I blacklisted the level 1 AND another... this continued 5 times before it stopped.

Honestly, the hell is wrong with players these days?

lol i would have just laugh at his ass and screenshot the chat then reported him. let him enjoy his ban for harassment.

He's just jealous you somehow found the Darkknight (DRK) job. Seriously though just report him. At least SE handles griefing more seriously than botting.

Seriously, though: this is a text-book example of obsessive harassment and should be reported.

Report every one of the lvl 1 chars, it had to have been the same person. Hopefully SE sees fit to terminate their account, that is a bit too creepy.

I'm in the same world as you, and a similar thing happened to me in CT. Probably the same guy, also most too much of a coincidence for it not to be really. I was going in with a friend who needed their weekly gear. The PLD rudely said "you're probably here for drg drops, huh"? I said no, but my friend was. He proceeded to go on about how it has been unfair that he hasn't been able to gear up his alt in CT because people keep needed on the gear he wanted. It was quite a rant, but we ignored him. Finally after the last boss, the onion coat or whatever it's called dropped and of course my friend lotted and won. Begin tirade from the PLD. We just left and didn't hear anything more.

If you report them they're pretty much guaranteed to get a suspension, at the very least a 3-day. I've seen people get temp bans for a lot less... making five alts (and sitting through the opening cutscene five times, lmao) to harass someone is taking it to a completely different level.

Honestly if somebody is doing this just ignore and blacklist them. Don't keep responding. The reason why they went through all the trouble of making alts and shit is most likely because you were reciprocating and giving them the attention they were looking for.

There's nothing new about making threads when you have something to complain about...

His life sucks and he's taking it out on you. He can't make friends and get attention from anyone, because he's a loser. So he forces people to pay attention to him, so he doesn't feel as alone as he really is.

I would have told him "Yeah, I'm here to ninja your loots."

That kind of behaviour is valid for reporting for harassment. I sure hope you wrote a report and not just gassed in here about it.

The answer to this is if you go in as a different job expect only to get gear for that job. I don't care if you get an insta-queue as a PLD instead of waiting hours on DRG, it's not fair if you're going to demand gear for other jobs you got because you couldn't be bothered to wait in queue like the rest of us. Glad to hear your friend got his DRG gear for his DRG and left the PLD sulking.

DRK? there are no Dark Knight jobs in FFXIV. Ninja gear? There is no Ninja gear in FFXIV. What version of the game do you have cause I want it!

I love people who do that...always tell them "well, if you really want the loot you better play the class its for". Usually you get a nice angry response

Bullies everywhere in life, just ignore them:p Best is in the arena in pvp. Many are yelled at for not being properly geared, etc... well no sh#$, they just started. I saw a poor bard break sleep by accident and the black mage went bananas on him. Seriously, some people are raging psychos and if you don't agree with them you will be spammed. Just troll them^^
