So is this how the forums are going to be everytime Yoshi-P is going to announced what will be in each major Update?

He hasn't even revealed what half of 2.2 will be yet and people are sing the Doom Song.

Yes. And it forever will be as long as it's considered a "popular" game. He could be caught on a live letter sneezing once and someone will say that the game is doomed. You don't need anything relevant to happen to make such claims these days.

It's up to Yoshi himself to tell us how he plans to continue the game. The current path of content updates doesn't change how contradictory the game direction is. Updated dungeons that offer no incentive, lockout content, and quests that offer no memorable experience aren't exciting. While, I do truly believe the game will be awesome in time, even I have my doubts currently. There is no drive, excitement, or even inspiration in this current design.

This will never change. People cry for more content, more content comes, people are mad there is
more content and call the time of death on the game.

I'll never understand it. Anyhow, I'm stoked to see the Live Letter tomorrow!

Forums are for the trolls. What do you expect?! People that actually enjoy the game are (shocker) playing the game.

Pretty much this.

When playing I do encounter people that say they will leave when TESO comes out and similar stuff, but these forums aren't really an accurate depiction of how the game is. More so when you have people posting on the forums that have already quit the game. They really need to bring back that rule where only people that are currently subscribing the game can post.

Yeah, any complaints must be because people are trolls or because the game is popular.

It's not possible at all that anyone has a legitimate design issue and doesn't see an indication of those design issues being addressed in the revealed target content. It's not a lack of long term vision that is concerning... no, it's just trolling and popularity.

Ignoring and dismissing things does not make them go away- it can, however make customers go away.

Problem is, most of the complaint threads are doomsaying, or just straight up bitching and whining and bellyaching that accomplishes nothing positive. The constructive threads are much rarer, and by that I mean the honestly constructive ones, not the ones that are basically just begging for 1.23 back.

Issues should not be ignored/dismissed, but on the other hand, word/phrase them in such a way as to make them not just another generic complaint.

Not to worry any complaint threads that get too much attention will just get closed and quickly deleted.

Forums are full of morons, including me. I come here to for good old laugh material and the Hyur thread. Most of the forum is the vocal minority as most people tend stick to their typical boards they go to anyways. Redditors or whatever they're called stick to their sub redit, 4chaners stick to the /vg/ threads, gamefag users stick to theirs. The left overs that don't belong anywhere come here.

I thought it was like this on a daily basis and not just near live letter time.

Live letter right now! I'm very excited, even though I can't understand a word of Japanese.

It's like this on every MMO best thing you can do is ignore the general forums it's where the trolls, whiners and doomsayers gather and the people with genuine concerns/issues get lost in the shuffle/spam.
