Bard gear advice

Our group can beat Bahamut Coil T1 ~ T4 with no problem, but cannot beat Turn 5 at the moment. I'm wondering what should I use my myth for?

Here's my current gear/stats:

race: Hyur - Midlander

weapons: Artemis Bow Zenith

head: Bard's Chapeau
body: Bard's Shirt
hands: Ballad Gauntlets
waist: Ballad Sash
legs: Bard's Tight
feet: Ballad boots

neck: Darklight Choker of Aiming
ears: Darklight Earrings of Aiming
wrist: Darklight Bracelet of Aiming
ring left: Vortex Ring of Aiming
ring right: Hero's Ring of Aiming

stats:
Dex: 474
Accuracy: 479
Critical: 491
Determination: 256
Skill Speed: 396
Vit: 370

I'm thinking my priority for AF2/myth should be:
hands > feet > waist > earring > wrist
(i'll try to get my neck piece from Ultima)

I also have 2 other questions:

1. How much accuracy is needed for Turn 1~Turn 4, and Turn 5 (for both melee, ranged melee, blm)

2. What's the conversion rate for critical vs DEX and Determination vs DEX?

- Tremor Earrings of Aiming is looking nice but I'm not pretty sure if it's better paired with Allagan Bow than Hero's Earring of Aiming.

Wrist, I wouldn't even bother wasting myth. just either get a Gryphonskin Wristbands with VIT/Crit/Determination melds or go straight to Inferno Bangles if you have the opportunity.

I would probably go Earrings >> Waist >> Feet >> Hands in your situation. The first three are up to personal opinion which to get first but since you have i80 already in Feet/waist slot I would do earrings first, and Ballad Gauntlets are a remarkably good piece for their iLVL, so I would upgrade that slot last.

I have an i90 BRD, and have cleared T5 multiple times with many different sets. Until you start getting T5 clears and have more loot to work with, aim for this set: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/LNJR

That means clear all EX Primals and get your Elfin Bow, then farm Ultima until you get neck and ring.
Myth priority should be belt>gloves>earrings>wrist.

That set will have you at the cap to hit Asclepius 100% of the time after eating HQ Deviled Eggs (don't bother eating outside of Coil if you wanna save some dough), and an absolutely massive amount of crit and det.

Both Crit and Det for BRD is somewhere around .3:1 ratio to Dex.

The Dex loss is minimal, and it's considerably more than he has in his current set. Myth boots are bad, Myth neck is bad, Garuda ring is solid but you need the accuracy. Better to run that set (which is more than capable of downing T5) until you get the nicer BIS Coil pieces. Most importantly, it requires no further coil drops.

Marginal crit loss (1% maybe), 7 Dex and like 30 SkSp gain.

Note: while playing around with a pre-T5 list to link here, I stumbled across that combination that out-weighed my current set by 3 points or so. Not bad. :P Gonna swap to that until my bow and pants decide to drop.

aiming for the vortex ring and allagan boots. Anything i need to swap or fix?

Replace your boots with T4 when you get them, replace your bracelets with Ifrit, replace your Ultima ring with Garuda. Eat HQ Stuffed Cabbage (cheap, gets the job done, but HQ Lava Toads give like 2 more crit if you're into that sorta thing). That'll give you the list I linked.

3 pieces of i70 accessories there, that should be your no.1 action point.

Replace choker with Ultima's
Earring, BiS is Hero's but if you are short on myth, you can farm for Tremor
Wrist get Ifrit's
Waist get Hero's (which is where your myth should go to FIRST, if you have extra, then get your Hero's Earring).

I did coil 1-4 with 395 acc accidentally, had a couple misses but nothing too crazy. Really only auto attacks.

Since that will take 2 more weeks, I'll try my luck at Ulitma/Coil/Primal in the meantime.

Very simple question here: in a vacuum, which is inherently better:

Quint-melded Gryph boots w/ stat totals:
DEX 12, VIT 14, Acc 16, Crit 16, Det 11, lolSS 6 (was capped on everything else by meld 5)

Or Ballad Boots:
DEX 15, VIT 17, Acc 19, lolSS 13

Coil hates me and refuses to drop any BRD stuff outside of Turn 1 (seriously does anyone else have this issue? I've been farming coil for AT LEAST 3 months) so allagan bewtz are out of the question for now, and I'm kind of tired of my quint meld stuff "gimping" my iLvl. I have a semi-fresh 50 WAR that def needs the myth tomes more than my BRD aka buying the BRD myth boots, so no dice on those. My WAR also would benefit from CT loot in at least 2 slots, so I'm not sure if I should blow my proverbial CT load on BRD boots that might not even be better than the ones I already have. I would have thought the extra DEX would put them ahead but with the recent stat weights I've seen, now I'm not so sure, since Ballad boots have NO crit or Det and my gryphs have 16 and 11, respectively.

The fact that you type "lolSS" as a BRD clearly points out why you're even asking the question. They'll both be replaced with BIS pieces, take the cheaper Ballad route. Allows you to wear Elfin Bow with a few more accuracy pieces for Coil.

...think you may have misinterpreted my situation. I'm already in possession of the quint-melded Gryph boots and just need to know for sure if the extra 3 DEX (and I guess VIT?) from the Ballad boots (3 Acc isn't going to make or break me) outweighs the extra 16 crit and 11 Det from the Gryph boots so my mind can be at ease while I wait for Allagan boots to drop

Stat weights have been posted ALL over the forums. If you already wasted the money, use the Gryphonskin.

My static is forcing me to use i90 weapon, but I really don't like to spend 900 myth on upgrading to Relic Zenith, while Elfin Bow is an option, it'll drop my accuracy alot.

Which gives me, 490 AP, 455 ACC , 536 Crit , 235 DET, using HQ Stuffed Cabbage which gives me 476 ACC.

I was wondering How could I make up for my ACC so that I can use Elfin Bow, and if it'll be worth it.

Optional items that I currently possess,
- Gryphonskin Choker (Full Meld)
- Rose Gold Earrings (Full Meld)
- Gryphonskin Ring x2 (Full Meld)
- Allagan Bracelet of Aiming

i90 Weapon affects the LB of the party, so it's important. Spend the 900 myth, you can make such better sets (full i90, good weights).
If you still want to run Elfin Bow, the best way I've found is with CT boots and Ultima ring.

Eat HQ Stuffed Cabbage for Coil. Leaves you at 472 Acc (capped), 556 Crit (very high), 263 Det (high for BRDs), and 381 SkSp (low for BRD, but who cares?). All in all, a very respectable set. And all you're missing for it is a CT drop and an Ultima drop, easy enough to farm.

If you get ahold of the Coil Hat (T2), you can swap the necklace for Ultima, the bracelets for Ifrit, and push your crit and det significantly higher at the cost of just 2 dex.

I'll be losing 3 DEX instead of just 2 coz I really don't like farming Ultima so I'll just use my Gryphonskin Ring since it's already full-meld, and I'll gain a bit more crit.

Seems it'll be an upgrade for me, trading off 3 DEX for 1 WD and alot of DET and CRIT.
