Suggestion for the 3v3 bracket.

Since 3 premades are so popular and we probably lack melees and tanks it would be nice if there were 3v3 bracket for it. Or do you think nobody will die if it was like this? Healers damage is pretty good too also if they have more time they can help with damage. I think melees should share spot with tanks because they share same diminishing returns with tanks since bard and blm do not have stun and summoners rarely use ifrit.

something like this.

Melee dps: Paladin, Warrior, Monk, Dragoon
Ranged dps: Bard, Black Mage, Summoner
Healers: White Mage, Scholar

1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5. Pls.

in 1v1 and 2v2 healer would like never die .. and 5v5 is probably too hard heal with single healer and if there is 2 healers it is endless combat ress and esuna spam from each other.

If you compare wow they never successful with 2v2 balance so they removed cool weapon rewards from it. And 1v1 is only for fun dueling with no rewards. 5v5 is probably possible work somehow.

Oh, balanced? Pft, that's a dream. I just threw those brackets out there for possible fun and shenanigans.

2s in WoW is like cruise mode. No challenge cause its about who getting CC'ed first, or which side has bigger guns to bear. I'd say if they are going to pit 4v4 with bonus Exp and Mark, disable the requirement of 1 Melee 1 Range there.

I really don't see what that has to do with the design basis of PvP mode I am discussing. That's another issue entirely. Larger scale PvP has always been less challenging and frankly skilless in comparison to Arena challenges in games.

I think once(if) you get a taste of 8v8 in an open battlefield you would change your tune

I've done both modes in my gaming career, both at top tier. 2700+ RBG rating on WoW. 8v8 has never given me the rush Arenas or fine-tuned PvP provide, nor will it ever. This is simply my opinion.
