First off, OT takes Suparna, not Chirada. That way, MT doesn't have to worry about getting one shot.
Second, Suparna has a very clear rotation, which means you know when you'll get hit by Wicked Wheel, and melee DPS can know when it's coming and get out of the way as well. I haven't been able to find it anywhere, so I figured I'd post it:
Downburst > Slipstream > Friction > Wicked Wheel > Repeat
Her rotation changes after the rocks are destroyed though, so that Friction comes after Wicked Wheel if I remember correctly. Still, makes the fight SO much easier knowing when it's coming and being able to survive without any issues. And the Stoneskin Chirada gives Garuda disappears almost instantly, so that isn't an issue in the least.
Edit: Also, something I never see people saying, when Garuda puts the blue tornado around the outside, have everyone stack right behind her. Then, when all the feathers are grouped, OT takes Spiney away, and the group nukes both the feathers and Garuda. Feathers die fast since they're clumped up, and Garuda takes some extra damage.

This has been causing me some issues with main tanking garuda. Double Wicked wheel is such a trivial mechanic if I have even a single cooldown up, yet I have no idea how to predict when they will use Wicked Wheel...
Same goes for melee if you kill suparna first - no way to predict when Wicked Wheel occurs as it can change each pull or even each phase transition.
Seriously the hardest of all three of the primals at this point. -

Suarana whicked wheel shouldn't one shot any mele. Its only Garudas. Thats all you really have to watch. And in that case its Slipstream - Downburst - Wheel. So mele should watch the rotations and move accordingly. I do this on my MNK daily

When DPS is slower Wicked Wheel seems to come out sooner. The main tank in our FC just always does a cooldown after Downburst and it is still up if WW comes out immediately after. If it doesn't he can pop another one or two since he knows when WW is coming by that point.Quote:

Chirada or suparna for the off tank or main tank and i see no difference !
Why sometime i take the big attack, and sometime i don't what can prevent it ? I realy can't figure it.
In each phase i have take 2 super attack (one for garuda, and one from chirada or suparna, nothing change at all the first we kill). and another one attack, what that mean ?
Less of dps ? We was good i think, we have try burn chirada like we allway do, and i still take the super attack, we have try with suparna first and no change at all.
Evade this attack is so random, sometime i run far away and i get hit, sometime don't, running for evade it is more dangerous i think, because i go behind the pillar who can't cancel the cast of the healer. I realy have hard time beat her, sometime that work well, sometime that work very bad. 4 Big attack in one phase is so much btw, i can't use so many cd in each phase. -

There are two methods that I found work great when I have Meelee DPS in the group.
1. MT would take Garuda and Suparna to one corner. OT tanke Chirada to a corner. Burn down Chirada before she uses Friction(a normal ilv75 + group can do this).
At this time, Garuda and Suparna should be about to use their WW.
Then Meelee put Garuda on Focus and target Suparna, go in use LB on Suparna and burn Suparna down before she complete another rotation of SS>Friction>Downburst>WW.
2. Use 3-way splits method. MT takes Garuda NE, OT takes Suparna to NW, DPS pull Chirara to SE and Meelee LB Chirada; SE stand in SE corner but toward the center, DPS stack up at the furthest of SE corner and DPS Chirada and avoid her Slipstream.
As Chirada die or slightly before she dies depend on your DPS, Garuda and Suparna will switch places between MT and OT(MT will have Suparna, OT will have Garuda); this is normal mechanic.
Continue with burn down Suparna and MT provoke Garuda back before Eye of Storm, if MT has to use provoke on Spiny then use take Garuda back as Eye of the Storm phase start.

Garuda's Friction only target Healers so everyone should avoid stacking up on Healers after Razor Plumes are gone.

As already stated in the other thread, there is another strat (I'll just call it the provoke strat) which works very well for melee heavy groups and totally avoids the risk of ever eating a Whicked Wheel at all:
- MT grabs Garuda and one of the twins (either Chirada or Suparna; whichever your raid prefers) and tanks them in the North-West
- OT grabs the other twin (which is about to be burned down first) AND the spiny plume and takes them to the Sout-East
- Your DPS burns down Chirada fast, she'll be dead before she's able to cast Whicked Wheel
- after Chirada is dead, the MT provokes the spiny plume and the OT provokes the other twin, so it will come to where the melees stand (she will either already have used Whicked Wheel or will be using it while on the way to OT, just watch for it)
- DPS burns down the 2nd twin, while your MT prepares spiny to only be at 20% HP, so it can be killed fast once Garuda jumps up
- when 2nd twin is dead, your ranged DPS may continue to DPS Garuda until she jumps up
- kill spiny
This way you'll have no Whicked Wheel from Garuda on your melees at all. No whicked wheel from first twin, and if your melees wait for whicked wheel from the 2nd twin before going in melee range, there will be no whicked wheel from 2nd twin either. Your MT still needs to watch for double whicked wheels if he takes Garuda and Suparna and use CD appropriately or dodge it. Both tanks need to make sure not to place any DoTs on their secondary targets (so MT doesn't DoT his twin and OT doesn't DoT the spiny plume), and they also have to watch fot not generating any emnity on those targets after their counterpart has provoked, as you'll need to make sure that one provoke from each tank is enough to swap those targets. -
