Is this patch worth it

Considering it isn't one of the big patches and it is here for the sole purpose of fixing things. I like it.

Are you tallking about the update they are doing tonight??

I think fixes are a great idea for a patch, well, what else is there? We can't expect new content every time.

If it fixes the lag in Titan EX. It will be a welcomed patch.

Because it is a fixing things patch, not a content patch. You do want things in the game to not be broken, right?

Also, lots of things are being fixed and changed. What gave you the idea that they're making a minor version number change just to fix 1 small loot bug?

Two fates along with a probable storyline for them are going in. Time limited content that will go away. Just so happens I like this stuff. So yay content patch for me.

its not a content patch.. more a bugfix and removing things we done wrong patch.. should'nt even be called 2.15 IMO

But they probably called it that as a publicity to make players who left the game think that there are new things

No, they didn't. They are using a very standard version number convention.

x.yz - X = drastic revisions to the entire software / expansion packs etc. y = Major content patches, z= minor patches. emergency hotfixes are unversioned updates.

Obviously they use build numbers internally instead of the patch version number; but the patch verison is intended to be easier to understand to the end user, compared to Build 374612.

My thoughts? Well, you only want a patch or fix if it directly improves your game play? It a small patch to fix some things, they usually have a weekly server whatever maintenance anyway, and tomorrow there will be new content. So, I might like it. Because, you know, not playing the game yet with the new patch installed, I have no way to know if I like it yet or not.

Personally I thought it was fun to relearn the fight each time I do it based on current server lag.

Tonight? Plumes and landslide never touched me just like always but for some reason I was getting hit with bombs... bombs that never hit me before using the exact same system I used last week. I had more deaths tonight than I have had since I started titan EX... thats pretty sad imo.

XI had quarterly content patches its whole existence more or less. They never had monthly content patches.

XIV's and XI's content schedule is the same. Except XIV's seems to be delayed more often.

I've played XI for years and... they were never that frequent. Not even simple fix patches were that frequent. You sure you are remembering XI there? Anyway, any patch is better than no patch and I welcome each and every one.

lol Ok really, I do think exactly the same, that is an awesome thought! I am glad they fix things. I have played games in the past where new things are just added on and they ignored the broken things. It is nice to have a fix instead of new shiny dangled in my face!

This is 2.15 not 2.2. This is the interim that is designed to fix and tweak things from 2.1 and add minor additions to make people interested in doing something that they may not have to anymore (ie. everyone with their full CT gear or better). This is not a major content update. We will see that in March or April.

Sometimes there are things you just can't fix with a hotfix, this is one of those times. Hence the 2.15 numbering and not 2.2. It actually should be called 2.1.1 to show it's a patch within the 2.1 patch.

Any patch that makes the game more functional is totally worth it.

Big patches contain bugs, small patches to fix things.

Considering I had no idea there was a patch in this maintenance and seeing the notes I'm very happy with what they're adding. People have just become too hungry for content to make them satisfied.

Contents are mostly in main patches. 2.15 is a sub patch. In sub patches are mostly fixes, balancings and things that was not 100% finished for the main patch.

Maybe it would be mor clear if they did the patch naming like in 1.0 and called it 2.1a

Nice! if you already got item in CT, you can't loot 4th chest item.

Typically the version number correlates to the type of update:

V2.1.5

1st digit - Major Expansions.
2nd digit - content updates and minor expansions
3rd digit - adjustments.

I would prefer they used the convention 2.x.y instead to avoid confusion, since eventually patches are going to roll around to an actual 15th patch.
