Fake miss-tell?

Definitely right :P

One of the funnier ones that I remember was when I was playing WoW, and the guild I was in at the time, during raids, played a drinking, let's just say, many drinks were had after THAT one.

I had one back in FFXI. Never in FFXIV though.

I was a linkshell leader and had a problem member who was threatening to leave if I did not boot someone he was in a lover's triangle with.

It got very heated in personal tells and was getting to the point where he said he was going to take all the linkshell members with him.

I got so sick of it, I did a well placed Mistype in Linkshell chat saying "I will not be bullied or threatened by you X_PlaceNameHere_XX. If you have problem with X_PlaceNameHere_XX you need to take it up with them."

"oops sorry guys MT"

The linkshell got so silent, and a few minutes later I got a tell from that guy just saying "WTF!"

In other MMOs and this one I like to do this to people that rib me in-game:

John Doe >> Ehayte, why are you consistently dead on your monk!?
Ehayte Feytes >> /fcac remove John Doe
Ehayte Feytes >> oops, MT : /

I've seen a bunch of really weird MTs...the kind you have no idea how they could come up in a conversation...

I also accidentally MT a lot (for real), hitting .p instead of /p too much :( Thankfully those haven't been that bad yet...

Static member - "Damn sorry that was my fault! Didn't realise I had rot"
Me - "Haha no problem. Happens to us all!"
