Idea for a new boss/raid fight...

Knights of the Round! You may remember the summon from FF7, but I don't believe they've been in an FF game since then. Would be awesome to have some crazy battle against 12 of them (I think there was 12...?) at once, or one after the other, or some other iteration!

So kind of like the AA battle in FFXI?

Good King Mog is the Moogle version of this fight you propose. It would be hard to differentiate them really.

make it a FATE vs 12 odin like bosses.... I think that should differentiate. or maybe make it a dungeon with 12 bosses. Though that's quite a bit of work. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing them... just they were so epic in the game that I dont know if i could kill them..

ya cuz SE can only make one fight were you have to kill multiple enemies...

New trial idea is fighting all three primal at the same time. First is ifrit, the garuda, then titan. After that they come on the battle field and everyone has to dodge weight of the land, eruption, dash, and cyclone, while garda sisters have to be tank. Gosh, the complaints we will see here about this fight but I would love the challenge. Fight should be worth 200 myth if completed and can only be beaten once a week.

I was thinking we should fight Ifrit, Garuda and Titan all at the same time. In one giant 24 man instance. Of course the arena will have to be huge.

Another massive 24 man Raid idea.

Everyone gets the Echo, and is transported back in time (or in some ancient memory) to that fateful battle in those plains against the Garlean empire. Relive the moment when one era ends, and another begins.

I have the feeling that this is something SE has in mind already.

I doubt that would actually happen though because a; the Echo is no longer depicted like that from a gameplay perspective (in 1.0 it was indeed interactive, even featuring actual battles in some situations, but in ARR it's just rendered in a 'grainy VHS' style with zero interactivity), and b; a large amount of players were actually there in that battle in the first place, being 1.0 players, so it would make little sense for them to jump back into someone else's shoes in a battle they already experienced.

Still, stranger things have been added to the game.

I would actually like to see the Final fantasy tactics lion war saint Ajora and the zodiac braves make a appearance.

Would work fight the normal humans first, second form battles auracite just like we collected the crystals for summons, then final battle Saint Ajora and her second form. I mean would pretty much make sense since the corpse brigade is running around and one fate has Milleuda the sitter she could pretty much be Milleuda Folles from final fantasy tactics.

The lack of suggestion for Magus Sisters or the four elemental lords is disappointing.

Naw, what SE should do is take the 5 main bosses from story line and make an Arc Angels (FFxi) version fighting them. 8 person battle, take on all 5 at once hard mode. Man that would be epic and SE shouldn't let them just be part of the easy story line :)

Or make a expansion drop The Shinra Corporation and new job Soldier the upgrade is Soldier first class and make him the first great sword wielder.

How about Anima from FFX. One half of the party fights the top half and the other fights the bottom.

How about a Survival fight / mix and match of all the bosses in an arena setting (hydra map)

Divine Might / Ark Angels would be a great fight in FFXIV.

I think of them as the new 'Knights of the Round'.


The idea of fighting all Empire generals at once is a great idea as well - add Nael to make it 5.
