Party in Progress

ONLY button, please. Not that I'm an ass that spams withdraw button, but if you can't fix the constant withdraws, please add this option.

I suppose you like sitting around for CT in DF to have countless "A member has withdrawn from the party" messages huh? If people are going to leave DF queue every time it's not a party in progress give them an option for *only* party in progress so the rest of us don't have to put up with the constant barrage of people leaving DF.

There is a major issue with that idea.

How many groups will be forming when that goes in, hmmm?

I don't know but I just got a CT group that was fighting last boss when I got in , I pretty much got tomes for just loading into instance .

Sure, the option to flag yourself as willing to do in progress works fine, because there are still plenty of groups being formed.

But how many people do you really think will use the full run option if they make it so you can choose to only queue for in progress?

Really, just think about it.

A lot because if people don't do full run then there will be zero in progress runs . Therefore after waiting for a week people will stop using in progress except the stubborn few who will reap its rewards .

None because everyone will want to do an easy in progress run!

O but wait if no new parties form no one can finish an in progress run!

OMG no one will ever finish a dungeon or raid again because they will all be in queue for a run that will never happen!!!! *head explodes*

What Party-in-progress is for: Marking yourself as available to help out in an unfortunate run where a member has dropped or been kicked. Being a helpful member of the MMO community.

What Party-in-progress is not for: Fast, easy loot.

What change duty finder really needs: No warning that the group you're about to join is actually a starting group, not a party in progress, and more severe penalties if you withdraw. In signing up for Roulette, you are declaring yourself to be willing to help out others in need, and are even receiving a generous reward for it. You are owed no further favors.
