Add a turn based boss battle, just for fun! :D

How cool would that be? Just a silly quick dungeon with one boss, or a trial that's turn based.

I joked about this with my FC, have a dungeon that functions like a Final Fantasy Tactics game and each round you get to move your character and select a skill xD. Enemies would work the same way.

This would actually be quite fun. It would be a neat change for one boss.

I was thinking more like a regular FF game, where the 4 of you line up and take turns healing/attacking the boss, but an FF tactics area would be awesome too! I wouldn't want an entire dungeon to work like that though it would take ages to complete lol.

Would definitely be an awesome change of pace for one fight though.

We need to do something like this only with minions, where you can level em up too.

I'd love it with minions...probably would work better too, so they don't have to change how the PC's skills and all works.

Heh, something like the chess event from karazhan back in wow. Would be cool actually. On a related note can we have an equally epic dungeon like karazhan with 12+ bosses in it?

It would be a nice instanced mini game/quest. At the very leqst they can make it a solo instance

I'd be in and likely doable. Make the whole arena out of tiles like the BC1 fight. Each time you move onto a new platform it locks you in it (lockout walls like on the final boss in Sunken Temple). Or a stacking debuff you gain each tile you step on that stuns you for X period after you step on whatever number. Actions giving something similar.

This would be more than possible as group content over turn-based combat. Firstly because the point of turn-based combat is to allow you to control multiple characters at once, so unless the OP wants a solo dungeon it wouldn't be feasible if it involves a light or full party.

A big dungeon with 12+ bosses on the other hand would be great to see. Karazhan chess event would be gravy.

I support both these ideas. Totally doable and would make for a nice change of pace, as well as make players think strategy. I think each turn would need a time-limit, though. Something fair, like 30 seconds, where if someone has to go AFK or gets a lag spike/disconnect you can skip them and it doesn't hold up the party indefinitely, but not so short they're rushed or long they just get bored and leave.

A good addition for a change of pace XD, at least it makes gives FFXIV a uniqueness compared to other MMO XD
