I'm just tired of grinding. I do it in every MMO I play, think i'm finally burnt out of MMORPG games.

so why are u putting this on the message board?
the only answer that can possibly come to my mind is "cool story bro"
What did you have for breakfast?
Some time it's best to step away and take a break. Come back refresh and new content awaits. No need to force yourself through if you are burn out.
im not the type of person to talk on the message board but i did sound mean let me rephrase what i said so it want sound that way. if u bored go do something else theres plenty to do on FFXIV go craft do the extreme primals do coil...... 1-4 u need darklight for it and u get i90 gear. theirs plenty to do u just havnt experience it all dont say u bored u havnt done all of it. i have done coil turn 1-4 did ct and more.
One, spell check is your friend.
Two, I said I was bored of the MMO genre in general, not just FF14. When you do professions on most of the MMO's, raids, dungeons, PvP, PVP AH, etc etc on the same genre with different skins things tend to get boring real quick.
Forums keep me somewhat entertained.
Well for Final Fantasy, hitting the bare minimum is very easy (and boring) thanks to all those lock outs.
At min., you want to do the following every week (easily achieved):
1. Cap Myth (time grind, do 1 daily high duty daily)
2. Get CT gear (pray people do not suck, once a week per item)
3. BcoB T1~4 (might need to find good group)
That is seriously all you need to do to keep mostly up in the ilvl race.
OP means theme park mmo's im guessing. you can only go on a roller coaster so many times before it sucks.
That's the way theme parks are, and if you're not a roleplayer or pvp'er to a lesser degree, you're inevitably going to run out of content. Maybe you should try something different? ^^
Well, there is always a certain point on our life when our taste change. And what we was used to do for years suddendly becomes... damned boring :)
What's next? Find your new way of entertainment playing videogames. Switch genre may help to discover new frontiers.
Take into account you may become bored of any random online interaction. In case, offline games helps.
Also, sometimes, your brain just goes bored to play videogames at all. Even offline games may be boring and entertains you just 1 hour top.
Try to figure out what is going on , then choose your path.
Don't be sad thinking something is wrong on you. Nothing wrong, you're just older, taste changes getting older :)
Good luck on your trip finding your new self. :)
I don't understand the point of this thread. How are people supposed to respond to, "I'm bored of MMOs in general?" MMOs are a very specific type of videogame, and I find that either people like it or they don't. Some play for a while and then lose interest. Others are forever 'casual', only logging in once in a blue moon, doing a few dungeons, and disappearing again. It's possible you have simply outgrown this genre of videogame. I personally feel there is still a lot to do in the game. I play very often and yet there are still sides of the game I've yet to experience... but, I still have the drive to move forward and experience those things. If you don't, I would suggest spending your money elsewhere... and I mean that sincerely. If you aren't having fun, why spend money on a monthly subscription?
