Bring Dark Primals back to FFXIV! (from FFX)

Hello eveyone :)
I'd like to share my opinion about the primals extreme difficulty. They are too easy compared to ifrit extreme from version 1.23 so instead increasing the difficulty of current primals I'd like to have another version of them, the Dark Primals.
For those who doesn't know them, they are known as "Dark Aeons" in FFX.
Those primals should be optional since there are too much people having problems with the current ones so they can skip them if they want (those were optional in FFX).
I know this might sound like another recycling content but now they have the chance to give us a 100% different fight, new real mechanics (like horn incapacitation), etc...

ffx didn't have dark primals but dark summons (Aeons are spirits you can summon, and you can't summon primals, but just their Egi in ffxiv).
ffxiv already has dark summons.

i agree. plus they already announced new primals (probably ramuh and leviathan) once they raise lv cap.

No, there is no Dark summons in FFXIV yet.

It's a Belias-Egi not a dark ifrit-egi

It's the same concept. Just with a different name.

Agreed.

With Zodiark and Belias (sort-of) being a part of the game already, I wouldn't be surprised if they expand upon that in future updates.

I think it's best to leave the existing 3 primals alone. Their purpose is complete. What you really want a titan with 10 landslides just because?
I'd rather they give us new boss fights with whole new mechanics than try to continuously make old boss fights harder.

The main reason Ifrit X is so easy is because he has like no HP, and you get too much time on the nails. Plus limit break 3. They also could have done something like his Dash's take you out of the arena titan-style.

If they add Dark primals, they should do it with a level cap increase but more of a one time thing. Like not every cap increase. I'd be ok with a Dark Ifrit Extreme when cap is level 75.

I did question Belias' appearance in that quest, as he was a fire elemental esper in FFXII and we already have a fire elemental primal with Ifrit. Then again,

The Ascians were the ones who let him summon Belias. Belias is one of the espers from FFXII. We know the Ascians worship Zodiark. It's possible that Ivalice's roster of espers will be the "dark" counterparts of Eorzea's primals (e.g. Belias for Ifrit, Chaos for Garuda, Mateus for Shiva, Adrammelech for Ramuh, Hashmal for Titan, Zodiark for Hydaelyn, etc.)

i completely agree. nice theory and nicely done Yoshida if that happens to be true (and i think so).
i can completely see Mateus-Egi as opposed to Shiva-Egi

The less primals the better. Ive had it with recycled primals fights with increased difficulty. I would like something new entirely. Just my 2 cents.

There are too many "primals" through the series to continuously rehash ones that are in game already, dark or otherwise. ..

shiva, ramuh, leviathan, anima, typhoon, eden, brothers, diablos, hades, etc, would be more fresh and add more to the game world imo.

It's an elder primal, like Bahamut, Odin, and (I believe) GKMM XII
